Arnie's POV
Pagkatapos naming kumain, we decided to go here at the park, i didn't told Paige where exactly are we heading and she got totally excited after figuring out my surprise.
"Oh my God!" she said in disbelief
"Did you like my surprise? Alam ko it's been a while since we both came here." she then hug me tight
"Thank you Arn, me too, i missed this place! I remeber the last time we go here bata pa tayo. If i'm not mistaken, kumakain ako ng cotton candy tapos nadapa ako kaya natapon yung cotton candy ko. I cried so hard that time." she said while laughing. I smiled as i remember that story, we used to go here when we were kids, this is our happy place
"Look!" i stop and look to where she's pointing. "Let's go there!" I was about to say something but she drag me already. Her eyes widen when she realized it was street foods and inihaw.
"Can i try those please?" look at me with amazed look and pouted like a baby
"Yeah of course, that's the reason why i brought you here, but please don't ever say a word to you parents about this, they might kill me" she just nodded and smile widely
"Kuya pabili po ng inihaw. Magkano po ang isa?"
"Limang piso sana ang isa pero para sa inyo, apat na piso na lang tutal magaganda naman kayo." pambobola ni kuya sa amin
"Madaya ka naman manong eh, bakit sa amin ginawa mong anim na piso?" reklamo nung mga kasabay naming bumili.
"That's only for six pesos? Really?" she whispered, i just nodded and smiled at her. Hindi pa rin natapos sa pagrereklamo yung ibang bumibili
"Nako kuya para fair po, anim na piso na rin po sa'min. Tiyaka para hindi na rin po kayo malugi." Humingi na lang kami ng pasensiya dun sa mga nagrereklamo.
"Sige na nga, pagpasensiyahan niyo na ako mga binibini at ako'y nabighani lamang sa angkin niyong kagandahang taglay. Bihira lang kasi akong makakita ng mga babaeng magaganda at mayaman na kumakain ng mga street foods."
After naming makabili humanap na kami ng magandang pwesto para kumain, and believe me or not, halos binili lahat ni Paige yung benta ni kuya na inihaw. Pati si kuya nagulat din kasi akala niya may mga kasama kaming kakain pero nung sinabi kong siya lang, natawa na lang siya.
"Daig mo pa talaga construction worker kapag kumakain ano? Saan napupunta yung mga kinakain mo?" we decided to walk around after naming naubos yung mga binili ni Paige.
"Honestly hindi ko rin alam e." sabi niya habang tinatanggal niya yung mga tinga sa ngipin niya. "Pero seriously Arn, thank you ha. Sobrang napasaya mo'ko." saka niya ako niyakap ng mahigpit.
"Ano ka ba, wala yun. Besides, hindi ka naman mahirap pasayahin e. Tiyaka gusto ko rin naman bumawi sayo kahit papano."
"Wag kang mag-alala, bawing-bawi ka na, can we go here again next time please?"
