"Have fun and call me when your ready to be picked up." Waving at Libby I drop her off and ride into the sunset.
I wish.
I make my way over to the palace. Our parents are planning a charity event for orphans. I think it's sweet, but where were they when I needed someone? No where to be found. So that's why I dressed in sweats and a baggy shirt. She said to get dressed up for breakfast at the Palace so I got dressed and pulled my pants up.
Pulling up to the back gate the guards let me in then quickly close the gate. This entrance isn't very known. Parking in the under garage I get out and turn to see Rose.
She does not look pleased with me to say the least. In fact she looks afraid. "Please tell me this is one of your stunts and not you actually dressed up." She's wearing a light pink baby doll dress with a gold necklace paired with nude heels. I shrug my shoulders and walk past her heading to where ever I'm suppose to go. "Oh no you don't." Rose grabs my arm and starts dragging me up the stairs.
She's pullng me so fast that I can barely make it up a step once at a time. "Are you trying to kill me?" I try to follow her, but it is just impossible.
In the hall of her room we pass the staff who dodge us frantically. "Are you trying to embarrass Catherine and James?" Sounds like a plan to me. "Do you even know why you were invited here?" Rose asks as she shuts her door and rummages around her closet.
I think I remember correctly. "Some orphan event." Which makes no sense as to why I'm here.
Rose takes one galnce at me then goes back to her pushing clothes aside. "No, My mother wants to talk to you." Her mom, as in the Queen? Wants to talk to me?
"About what?" I yell walking into her closet only to run into her.
She wants me to dress up? "Here put this on." Grabbing the dress I look at it with mixed feelings. It's black and white strips. "And use these heels." She throws some black heels at me missing me by just an inch.
I won't do it. I have to prove a point. "No."
Rose raises one eyebrow daring me to challenge her. "You are my bestfriend Arabella. I can't let you go out there. Imagine the horror. I can't be seen with you dressed like that. I have a reputation to keep. People will gossip if they see you. You have fashion sense that is why I am your friend." I love her. This might have insulted some people, but I find it funny. This is how a bestfriend acts.
Grabbing the dress I walk out the closet. "So you are my friend only because of my fashion sense?" I ask while laying the dress on the bed.
It all makes sense now. "No I was your friend for you extinct fashion sense." Rose goes around fixing things around her room. "Also because I love you and even though your schemes annoy some people I love them. You are also able to annoy my brother and I love that. while at the same time your able to make him more human. You make him smile more than he use to." I didn't know I had that affect.
After putting the clothes on I stare in the mirror. I look like one of those fancy people. "Alexander will pass out when he sees how hot you look." Well not really I look like I just woke up. Cut off my head and yeah I look good.
I have noticed that he will look at me often. "What do you mean?" If she says he likes me I will go bonkers.
Rose sits me on her bed while she starts cakeing my face. "Can you not feel the chemistry between the two of you? Cause everyone else can feel it." That's it. Jumping on her bed I scream. "Sit down gosh. You two need to stop denying your feelings towards each other. All this fighting is only pushing off the inevitable." I'm going to make sure it never happens.
