Chapter 3- Looking for the Shards!

(Y/n) POV

As the group and I continued searching around, I sensed someone was watching and looked around. I didn't see anything so I thought it was just me, probably still tired from before. I didn't mention it until Inuyasha stopped us.

This time I felt the presence close by.

Really close. As I turned around I saw a group of bugs and told them. They quickly stepped back with me still standing there. Then Kagome grabbed my arm and pulled me back with her.

The bugs soon turned into a person. Well, demon ... Well, I don't even know I can't sense a thing!

???? POV

I came here to kill, and or taunt, but I sense a new presence with the group. As I switched my glance over to where I saw movement I saw that annoying human girl named Kagome there with another girl behind her.

I know Kagome's a high priestess, but the girl seems to be a half demon. A strong one as well... My concentration and thoughts were washed away when I heard the annoying yapping of the half breed Inuyasha.

Inuyasha's POV

When I started yelling at the person I soon recognized it was Naraku. That made me want to keep yelling even more. I yelled, " GO AWAY NARAKU!!!" When I saw he was eyeing ( Y/n) I walked up to him and got his attention.

(Y/n) POV

I looked out from behind Kagome and saw the man still standing there. Inuyasha said his name was... Was N-... Naraku...? Yeah, I think that's it, I looked at him and saw a few shards in him.

I figured they knew so I didn't say anything when he vanished. After that, we continued on our journey. It started to get dark, but we kept going. I yawned slightly and almost fell asleep while walking.

Luckily we stopped in an area and rested. And I fell asleep quickly after getting comfortable.

~Next Day~

When I woke up I was happy that I didn't have a nightmare this time... Or I stopped one from happening. I did notice my heart beat was going fast like I did have one, but I just don't remember.

We all stayed at our little campsite where we were sleeping for the night. Kagome and I brought enough for a few months so we were good. We had to be careful with some of the food we brought because some of the group took a liking to a lot of the food we brought.
