<A/N> ~As promised, here's an update...

Are you entertaining suitors now?

Those words hunted me throughout the days. Till' I got home, slept and wake up the next morning.

Are you entertaining suitors now?

How could he ask me like that? If I will keep on my assuming mind, I can't help but think he's threatened and that he didn't like me open to suitors?

Or maybe not.

Okay Rain, Stop it. You are overthinking again.

Aish.

Something I didn't expect, happened the next day. It was spread throughout the school that John is courting me! But what's worst, they're saying we're dating.

For sure, Prince started the rumors.

Of course, my friends are not exempted from excitedly interrogating me about this. In fact, they are the one who informed me about this!

"Tell us! Hurry!" Lorie asked.

"What?"

"Your love story!" Lynn answered.

"You and John! Come on, I wanna know!" Lorie continued.

I sighed in frustration. "Guys! We're not dating!" I defended but these girls don't believe me!

"Don't lie! Is that the reason why you've been close to him lately?" Lynn asked.

"No! I swear! These are just rumors! You can ask John about this. I don't know how this rumor started but I'm telling you, it's not true," I explained. Plus, I really hate being at the center of attention of lots of people!

They both sighed loudly. "I really thought you're already going to have a love life," Lorie sadly said.

"I'm not thinking of having a love life!" I grimaced. We walked our way to our lockers. "Plus, we have to concentrate on our studies! Exams is like, tomorrow? I have no time for those things," I continued.

"Fine. Fine. But you don't have to study so hard, for sure you don't have any failing grades to catch on," Lynn said while opening her own locker.

"Yeah. But I still want to give my best shot," I stated while opening my own locker. And to my surprise, a piece of paper fell the moment I pulled its' door! I immediately picked it up. It seems like a stationery folded a million times.

"What's that?" Lorie noticed.

"Oh, nothing, it's my notes," I lied. I think it's a letter. And if I'm right, they'd never stop asking me to read it to them so I'd better keep it to myself and read it alone. I placed the letter to my pocket.

When finally I had a time alone, I immediately opened the paper and it says:

If saying the words 'I love you' is as easy as saying Hi,,

I will say 'Hi' to you a million times...

But if saying 'Hi' would mean 'Goodbye',

I'll never say it in my lifetime...

For my lips are sealed

And my heart, imprisoned...

Let my feelings be known to you,

Whenever I say "Hi", it means

I love you, but not Goodbye...
