"Shit, man." I could feel myself grinning over at Hyung and slide over into the seat with him. "Long time, no see, eh?"

"It's been a while, haven't seen you for a couple of years. Heh, looks like you're even shorter than wen I last saw you." Hyung snorted, flashing a toothy smirk my way.

"Hah. Either that or you're just becoming a skyscraper, Droog." I took a small sip from my thermos and handed it to Hyung. "Freshly made too, it's pretty good."

Now, Hyung wasn't all into coffee in the first place, he almost detests it. He actually prefers tea, but every once in a while, he'll allow himself to have some coffee.

Hyung sniffed at the thermos before taking a little sip of it as well. I could see his nose scrunch up and crinkle a little bit after tasting it.

"It's not bad, but I don't understand how you can even drink the stuff.." Hyung passed the thermos back to me and made a weird face.

Of course, it was hilarious enough for me to laugh at him, I swear his reactions to food he dislikes are the greatest thing to ever see. The thing is, it's only funny to people that know him.

Hyung is that kind of guy that has the talent of being a natural charmer, and people tend to get nervous if he looks even slightly disconcerted. But to the people that know him like the back of their hands, it's funny as hell to see his reaction to something gross or distasteful. I think the funniest part about it is the fact that he tries to seem polite about it even when you can clearly tell that he loathes it.

"Bah. In a couple of years I'm sure that you'll love the stuff." I slightly nudged him in the ribs with an elbow.

"Well, we've got a bit of catching up to do, eh..? How've Max and Jason been? Do you know if they're going here at all..?" I raised an eyebrow over at Hyung.

"Actually, I think you should ask them, since they're behind us a few seats." Hyung turned his head and motioned toward a seat that was about two rows behind us on the other side of the bus.

I turned to look where Hyung told me to, and my jaw nearly hit the floor.

"Yo, Jason, Max. Aren't you gonna say hey to an old friend?"

That definitely got the attention of both of them. They were watching something on Jason's phone, probably a video relating to music or whatever.

Max peered out of the aisle with Jason slightly hovering over his shoulder.

"Well, I sure hope my eyes aren't deceivin' me, otherwise, I'd have to punch somethin'." Jason waved over at me while Max sat there with the most excited expression you can ever imagine.

"Is that really you, Jack? Oh boy! I've missed you!" Max beamed and got so hyped up that he was nearly jumping in his seat.

"The one and only. Finally made it back into town. And I'm planning on staying here too. We'll be able to hang out again, just like the good ol' times." I couldn't help being happy about seeing those two lugs. Max and Jason were the most loyal friends a guy could ask for.

"Oh goodie! Hey, we might even have the same classes together!" I swear to god if Max had the about to grin any more, he just might end up ripping up his face.

"A guy can only hope, Max. How about we all meet up after we get our schedules and see who has what?"

"That's a wonderful idea, Jack!" Yeah, Max was pretty fucking happy about that.

We all chatted for the rest of the drive to the campus, telling each other about what's gone on since we were together and shared some of our own little adventures. I would have told about the reason why I had to leave, but the boys already figured that something bad had to have gone down, so I spared them the details.

Other than that, the gang was having a good time, that is until we stepped off of the bus and onto campus.
