Ch.16

Ben (pov) 

I woke up but was blinded by sunlight "agh who turned on the sun" I mumble. looking at the clock my eyes widened "hell it's 11:30 jeff wake up" I say reaching up and shaking his shoulder. He stirs then sits up as do I taking off his mask he rubs his forehead "shit what time is it?" he asks. "11:30" I tell him "hell that late huh" I nod "well I don't know about you but I need food" he says getting up. "Yeah i'll be down in a minute I gotta check my computer" before I leave something feels off I scratch my head. "jeff where's my hat?" I ask turning around "oh here it is" he says holding it up I go to get it but he holds it above his head. "Come on jeff you have like 10 inches on me" he laughs and plopped it on my head. "I know that was just for my own amusement" I shake my head and jump in the computer. When I get in my room I look on my computer to see I had an email from lyra "if she took the risk it must be important" I say clicking on it. 

To: Ben 

Ben no doubt you've heard about what's been going on unfortunately I can't tell you much but I can tell you this. They have people watching you but they can't go inside slender forest. But they are trying to find a way in without being detected by slender man. They also can't go within a certain distance of the places he keeps in overrealm that you guys use when you stay there for extended periods of time. I also want to tell you that it's not a good idea for you to go out alone because you do have enemies over here.

Also don't respond to this it'll be safer for the both of us. I know lost silver won't go looking for you out of respect but red will. I guess that's it I suggest you delete this after reading it I'm gonna do the same after I send it. One last thing ben please stay safe I don't need to hear about my bro getting his ass beat.

I look over it one last time before deleting it I hope she knew what she was doing by sending this. Lyra was like a little sis to me and i'd hate for her to get hurt. Wait what am I saying she has a better head on her shoulders than I do she'll be fine. I walk to my bathroom brush my teeth and quickly run a comb through my hair so it looks halfway decent then head downstairs. "Well that's just fan fucking tastic" I hear jeff grumble from the kitchen "what bit your ass?" I ask walking to the fridge and grabbing a coke. "Guess who got the first watch duty in overrealm?" the way he said it was more like a statement. I go sit next to him "you've gotta be kidding me" I say he shakes his head no. "Well that's just great" I say my voice full of sarcasm I hate overrealm surveillance missions. "so when do we leave?" I ask opening my coke and taking a drink "tomorrow at 12:00". I shrug "well at least we have today so Watcha wanna do?" I ask. "Well I have no ideas what about you" he asks I smirk "do you really need to ask" I say walking into the living room. 

*20 minutes later* 

"And once again I smoke your ass" I say beating jeff in mario kart "whatever I still say you cheated" he says putting his remote down. I laugh out loud "how do you cheat at Mario kart" I say catching my breath "you're a cyber ghost ben you'd find a way" he says nudging me. "You're right I am awesome after all" he laughs "ok now you're just being cocky". I pause the game "so watcha wanna play now" I ask walking over to where we keep them "how about we play zombies on call of duty". I grab the game and pop it in "ok so whoever kills the most wins" I ask sitting back down "agreed".

Jeff (pov) 

We played video games until about 1:30 when ms.p walked in "hey slendy wanted me to discuss some details with you guys". Ben pauses the game and ms.p sits in a chair "so what exactly do we need to know" I ask. "You guys will be staying in an area that they operate in often" she explains. "What do we do if we see them?'" ben asks "under zero circumstances are you to fight them" she replies. "You only record their activities slendy wants this on the down low" she continues "only do otherwise as a last resort". She hands me a piece of paper with the address of where we'll be staying a key and leaves. "Well this sounds like it'll be boring" ben says leaning back "yeah but at least it's only for a week".

We spent the rest of the day either playing video games watching tv or messing with masky and hoody. "Hahaha did you see their reactions" ben said as we walked upstairs we just pulled a prank on masky and hoody and now they're covered in flour. "Yeah they were priceless" me and ben had decided to go ahead and pack our stuff up so we didn't have to do it In the morning. When I got to my room I grabbed my black duffle bag with red straps and started packing a weeks worth of clothes and other essentials.

Once I was done I decided to go check on ben when I got there he had his arm in his computer. "Getting your stash" I asked leaning on the door frame "yep" he said pulling a jar out and putting it in his green duffle bag with black straps.. "Hey jeff can you hand me that black charger" I look to my side and see a laptop charger and toss it to him. "thanks" he says putting it in his laptop case and zipping it up. "Well come on i'm pretty sure dinners ready" we go downstairs and into the kitchen "what's for eats?" ben asks. "Pizza" ms.p replies by the time we finish eating it's almost 11:00 "Well i'm gonna hit the hay" I say walking up to my room. When I get there I put on some black sweat pants but decide to sleep without a shirt. I put on my sleep mask on and lay down "this week should be interesting" I say before falling asleep.

The reason it took so long is because I wanted to give everyone time to vote on the poll from my last chapter. Now for the results and it looks like soul eater won by a landslide. Also i'm debating on whether I should make this story long or doing a sequel so if you have an opinion please voice it.
