Ben (pov)

We sit in silence for a minute "ben you know that would never happen". I keep my face in my knees "I know but it felt so real plus it wasn't even on purpose". I started laughing "haha it was fucking hahaha accident hahahaha and those can hahahahaha still happen".It's official i'm losing it I feel a hand on my shoulder but I jerk away and stand up. "For instance" I punch a hole in the wall with my left hand "that can happen by accident!".

Jeff gets up "ben calm down!" I walk over to a window and kick it making it break "THAT CAN TO!". Jeff turns me around and grabs my shoulders "ben you need to calm down you're not thinking clearly" I push him away. "If anyone isn't thinking clearly it's you at least i'm thinking of your safety!" he reaches for me but I jump out the window. Something is wrong I need to get out of here before I hurt him. I run into the woods as fast as I can ignoring jeff's voice calling after me.

      *25 minutes later*

I've pretty much been running on empty for about 5 minutes. The only reason I was able to before was because of adrenaline but now i'm back to barely being able to walk. "FUCK THIS!" I yell as I collapse on the ground my legs can't take it anymore. I lay there wondering if jeffs still looking for me knowing him he probably is. The one thing I don't understand is why I freaked out earlier the more I think the worse I feel. It's like my mind is going haywire what the hell is happening to me!? I clutch my head but it's no use everything is to scrambled up that's when I remember "......dark?".

      *flashback*

"Man guard duty is so boring" I say to myself as I walk down a mountain path. I'm on patrol at a border of one of the areas under zalgo's control. "Man this place is dead" I hear a voice behind me say "oh hey dark I thought you were on patrol to the north of here?". Dark wasn't just my brother he was my bestfreind we actually look a lot alike just some color differences. He had normal looking red eyes his hat, hair and tunic were all black and his pants were grey and not black like mine. "Nah I got scarecrow to cover for me" I was surprised that's not like him.

"What surprised your big bros being lazy" he walks over and puts a hand on my shoulder "we need to talk". He sounded serious "yeah sure dark" we walked over to some trees and leaned against them. "I'm getting out ben" "what do you mean?" "I mean i'm leaving the army" my eyes widened. "Dark you're nuts just talking like that can get you killed!" He looked me dead in the eyes. "This place is dangerous ben you need to leave to" I glared at him. "I can take care of myself dark i'm not going anywhere" he always does stuff like this. "But if you wanna go be my guest" he shook his head "i'm not leaving without you ben i'll wait till you come to your senses" he then walked off.

      *End flashback*

Not even two weeks later he 'died' but I know deep down he was killed. It's kind of funny just a little longer and he would've been in zalgo's army for a year and recieved immortality. Silent tears were streaming down my face "you should've left without me you dumb bastard". If he had just thought about himself he'd still be alive. I started shaking coming out here with no shoes or jacket was pretty stupid of me. "Ben!" I hear jeff yell he runs next to me and sits me up "fucking hell you're freezing!". Jeff takes off his hoodie and slides it over me "hey now" he takes his thumbs and wipes my tears away "there's no need for that". He picks me up bridal style and starts to carry me back to the house.

"Hey jeff" "yeah what is it?" he looks down at me I see under his eyes were a little red nice job ben you made him cry. "I-I'm sorry f-for freaking out e-earlier" fresh tears threatened to spill out of my eyes. "I just h-hate thinking of s-stuff like that because i r-re-really care about you a-and" i'm silenced by him kissing me passionately. I close my eyes and melt into it letting a few tears spill down my face. When he pulls away he's smiling and leans his forehead on mine "you talk to much".
