i nervously opened the classroom's door, seeing my teacher already explaining a math sum - obviously, since we're late. not my fault the class was relocated. or, should i say, ours.
"then you'd divide it by-" the teacher turned around to face me, i mean, us - with a confused expression. "angelina? you're late?"
the whole class's attention was on us, but obviously more on the tall, tatted new boy next to me. the girls gasped and giggled, probably gushing about how hot he is, (not that i think he's hot or anything!) and the boys were giving him jealous glares or just simply curious stares.
"yes, i am. i'm sorry, miss, but your classroom was relocated and i didn't know." i confessed.
"i think you mean we didn't know." i turned around to face him and he gave me a cocky grin in return.
"angelina, you're excused - but please make sure this won't happen again."
i innocently beamed at her. "thank you so much, miss. i promise i won't."
i looked over to the tall boy next to me and he was shaking his head in disbelief, holding in a laugh. confused, i shrugged it off and started to pay attention to the conversation in front of me.
"well, i'm guessing you're new. . ." the teacher awkwardly trailed off, basically pointing that to the tatted boy. "angelina, maybe you can sit down already in your seat and the new boy can introduce himself - if he likes."
"yes, miss. i'd like to." he chuckled.
his hand trailed down my spine and stopped right above my hip - i froze. he lowered himself down a little to whisper in my ear. "you should get going to your seat, princess."
he softly tapped where his hand still was, signalling me to go, and i could just feel him smirking or playing with his lip ring behind my back. ugh.
"sure," i soft mumbled and made my way to my seat, but not without feeling a pair of eyes watching me.
he stuffed his hands in his black jeans's pockets and started making his way in front of class. "well, i'm luke hemmings," he made quick eye contact with me, sending a wink.
luke hemmings.
"-and i'm 18." he devilishly smirked in my direction, obviously hinting it.
18.
some girls actually turned around to glare at me and i gave them apologetic looks in return. he said he wouldn't. . .
he innocently coughed. "i like to play the guitar in my free time, also."
likes to play guitar in his free time.
"that's nice luke," the teacher genuinely smiled at him and looked in my direction, eyeing the empty chair next to me.
i furrowed my eyebrows and then looked at the free spot next to me from some girl that dropped out a year ago. she was not letting him sit next to me for the rest of the year. i beg to not think that or even imagine it.
"you can sit next to angelina? since you kind of know her?"
before i could reply to beg the teacher to not, he interrupted me. "i'd love to sit next to angel."
the teacher let out a small laugh. "well then,"
he smirked and my jaw dropped. the class laughed at his action and i blushed, not because of his little nickname for me, but because he embarrassed me in front of everyone.
he sat down next to me and sneakily put his hand under the table. i didn't think much of it since boys do stuff with their hands a lot, but then he started playing with the rim of my skirt. i thought for a second maybe it was some silly mistake, but then he slowly dragged his fingers to my knee and squeezed it before i can even physically react. but when i could verbally react,i let out a loud squeal. i quickly covered my mouth with my hand and blushed..
"you okay, miss. hilton?" miss. blake generally asked.
i looked down to my lap and fiddled with my fingers. "yes, miss. i'm sorry. i just harshly scratched my leg by accident." luke evilly snickered.
what a. . . "oh, would you like to go to the nurse?"
i would've declined it, but i wanted mess with him a little. "if that's okay with you, miss?" i smirked at my newfound idea.
"of course, go."
i got out from my seat and purposely swayed my hips sassily, just to get him a little ticked off. i thanked my teacher again and made my way to the nurse's office. when i was halfway there, i heard some obvious footsteps following me. thinking it was luke, i was ready to lecture him to not, it was surprisingly no one. furrowing my eyebrows confusedly, i turned around again but then crashed in someone's chest - which was luke's.
"you've got to be kidding me."
"someone's glad to see me." he laughed.
i smugly smiled. "look, i need to go to the nurse's since i injured my leg on accident. so, if you don't mind. . ." i tried walking past him but he stopped me by moving in front of me again.
i sighed. "wait, wait." i raised my eyebrows. "why did you lie to get out of class? thought you were an angel, but angels don't lie?"
"just like what they always say," i slightly brought my hand up to look at my nails, then brought it down again. "don't judge a book by its cover." i winked and continued my walk to the nurses office, swaying my hips again.
the games has just begun, and i don't think they're going to end any time soon.
but honestly, he made me do it.
