the Child of a Broken Oath

Man flying is fun!

Hey guys, here the "rewrite" but there is nothing from the old chapter soooo NEW CHAPTER! JA! anyways here it is.

Chapter: Man flying is fun!

"Father I will not do this!" I exclaimed loudly, he opened his mouth but i cut him off, "I can't let you punish someone innocent just because her father cant keep it in his pants!" He looked down and i couldn't see what his expression was, i waited another whole minute, nothing. Finally, a sigh, He looked up and said,

"you're right, but uh,"

"But what?" I asked slowly, He looked up, guilt filling his eyes,

"I already sent the monsters loose, 20 Hellhounds, the furies, and the Minotaur," I looked at him, shocked,

"I have to help her!" i exclaimed as a grabbed and shrugged on my black trench coat jacket. My father opened his mouth again, i gave him a look and he backed down. I looked at my mother, she nodded,

"Go help them," i was confused, them? she must of seen my expression and she said, "There are two others, a son of Hermes, age 14 like Thalia, and a daughter of Athena, age 7," That only made me want to help them more. I strapped a sword to my left hip and put a Desert Eagle in my gun holster.

"Son! just remember the blessings!" I was confused for a second, then i remembered, it was 2 years ago.

~This flashback is hungry~

"Father?" i asked confused, "Why am i here?" I was standing before my father, uncle, and Thanatos.

"We called you here because, you have earned the blessing of Poseidon and Thanatos, to become their champions," I was shocked, i opened and closed my mouth trying (and failing) to form words, Thanatos laughed and approached me,

"Alright, don't look so shocked man, you could have seen this comeing," I smiled softly,

"I might of been able but, eh didn't," He laughed, then placed a hand on my head, and started chanting, shockingly enough, i was sure this wasn't any sort of  language i new. The fires in the room went out suddenly and i felt my self lifting off the ground slightly.

 then came the pain. I screamed out feeling like i was being stabbed again and again with a knife in the two same spots. Then it felt like my back split open, and weirdly enough it felt like i had two extra limbs. (i cant explain what it feels like)

(A/N: Noor can i) I dropped to the ground on my knees, i was kneeling in a puddle of blood, my blood. Everyone (but thanatos) looked at me shocked, like i grew wings or something (he he) Thanatos smiled and helped me up, "Well looks like you'll be in the sky soon. Though i wonder how Zeus would react," Something brushed my arm, i jumped back and it moved with me.

 A mirror was summoned before me and i looked on with awe. My flame orange eyes now had a ring of pitch black around the outside of the iris. But the most noticeable detail, would probably be the raven black angelic wings attached to my back. I was in complete awe, judging by the looks on Hades and Poseidon's faces, i was not alone.  "this is the power of my blessing, you know have the ability to talk to the dead, and fly throughout the earth using your wings,"

 After a few minutes of me trying (and failing) to fly i just decided to try later. Now Poseidon my uncle walked up to me and spoke, "It is my turn to give you my blessing Percy," This time Poseidon chanted in Atlantean, I could only translate a couple of the words. "I ---- My blessing ---------- to this here ---- may the gods bless -" Again i floated above the ground this i fell to the ground with a soft thud.

-The flashback got his snack-

"I know father," i said with a smile, and i walked into a shadow, When i came out of the other side through a forest i quickly spread my wings, drew my sword, and flew up. From the height i was at i had a birds eye view where the upcoming skirmish would take place. I scanned the ground till my eyes fell apon 4 figures that seemed to be sprinting to where i would guess the camp entrance was. The first monster was closing in, i folded in my wings, and dove.

(POV change :O ) Thalia

The monsters were close, I could tell you that mch, maybe 100 or so feet away. If we were to stand and fight, we would all get slaughtered. Which was the reason that i would stand alone. I knew i would probably die, i knew i would have to break a promise, maybe two. But if it got Luke and Annabeth to safety, It would be worth it. 

 We stopped atop a hill, I stared Luke directly in the eye, His eyes widened in realization, He opened his mouth, "Thalia no! you cant, that would b-" I cut him off 

"Luke there is no other way! I have to," He opened his mouth again, then shut it, I could tell he knew i wasn't going to back down. I wrapped my arms around him, i felt my face flush. I looked up at him, "I'll come back, i swear," He gave me another tight hug, I looked to little Annabeth, I crouched to her height, Sobbing she wrapped her arms around my neck, 

"No no no you cant NO!" She started to scream as i pried her from my arms and placed her in Luke's arms, her kicking and screaming for me broke my heart. I summoned my Spear and Shield, some of the approaching monsters flinched away, others just stalked towards me faster, the first hell hound got close, i readied my shield and spear.

 A loud whistling made me look up, i could see a figure speeding towards the earth. The figure hit the ground with a mighty explosion that rocked the earth, surprisingly enough i did not fall, the dust started to settle, i could make out a hooded figure. I could tell that he was a male for sure, he was kneeling on the ground sword sunk into the ground, cracks protruding from where it was impaled.

 But the most shocking thing were the wings that extended from his back. He effortlessly pulled his sword from the ground using his right hand, his other was also holding a sword, it looked to be very different from the sword in his right hand. The wind blew off his hood revealing a mop of messy midnight black hair. He looked back at me with a cheeky grin and said, "Sorry i'm late to the party," He said, and with that, he charged head on, to an army of 40 monsters all alone.

Okay that's another Chapter edited, now what, 9 or so to go? I cant even remember. Anyways, Keep fighting on guys!

(A/N:) I know there really is no new chapters just rewrites but when i saw how the story was after i left for awhile, i mean, it sucked. So please bear with me.
