I woke up inside a coffin. I heard voices. I sat up inside the coffin; the lid was open. Was I dead? I looked around. Nope. It looked exactly like home: the Land of the Dead.

I don't understand. I officially died! Didn't I? I remember turning into butterflies and going up to heaven! Or, what I thought was-

I stood up, got out of the coffin, and walked toward the voices. I put my right, flesh-covered hand on a wall and looked around it, toward where the voices were coming from.

There were two skeletons talking to each other. I walked up to them and interrupted their conversation, not caring if it was important or not.

"Emily!" one of the skeletons said, seemingly surprised to see me. "You're finally awake," the other one said, more relaxed than the first one.

"How did I get back here?" I asked, searching for answers. "The last thing I remember is Victor setting me free and-" I gasped. "Victoria," I practically spat (which I know is unlady-like, but I HATE HER!), hate dripping when I said her poisonous name. "This is HER fault!" I yelled. "If it weren't for her, I would be living happily with Victor!"

I saw a vase out of the corner of my eye on a shelf. I walked over to it, took it, and threw it against the wall. "We'd better get out of her," the calm skeleton said. "Yup!" the shaky skeleton agreed, and they took off.

I hung my head. I was known for my emotions to spiral out of control sometimes. I didn't mean to scare my friends! First things first: find out what happened when I was asleep and why I'm here. Then I can take back the love I deserve.
