       (Let the drama unfold!)

I finally got out of the forest and could see Victor's house in the distance. I jogged up to it. I looked for a balcony. When I found one, I climbed up a vine hanging off the edge.

I finally got to the top of the balcony! The wind whipped my vale around, so when my feet were surely planted on the balcony, I removed my vale from my face with my flesh-covered arm.

I fixed my hair and wedding dress and made sure everything was in place. I wanted to look good for my soon-to-be husband! I made sure my breasts looked nice in the top of the wedding dress and fixed it so he could see enough of them.*

I peered into the window of the room that led to the balcony. It was a family-like room. There was no sign of Victor or Victoria. I jiggled the handle of the balcony door, and it actually opened! I got through the doorway, and quietly closed the door. I was in! Now all I had to do was find Victor.

I speed-walked to the opposite wall and hid behind it as I heard a maid walk passed the room. I poke my head out of the doorway and watched her enter a room on the far side of the hallway. When the coast was clear, I stepped out of the room and quietly closed the door.

I was alone in the long hallway. "Victor?" I softly called. "Hello?" There was a loud echo with every step I took.

Desperate to find Victor, I opened every door in that hallway, looking for him. "Victor?" I called again. I called his name every time I opened  a door in that dark, abandoned hallway.

I already opened four doors! I was starting to think I would never find him in this big mansion when I opened the fifth one and found... Victor folding his shirts on his bed! I was so happy, I thought I would cry!

"Victor!" I giggled with the happiness of a child. I ran up to him with my arms wide, and threw them around him, not wanting to let go.

"Emily?" he said my name in his adorably soft voice. "I'm so happy to see you!" He continued to talk softly. And he wouldn't hug me back! In fact, he pushed me off of him! He held my arms as he said, "But what are you doing here?" Really? That's all you're going to say to me? He doesn't even care that I came all this way just to see him? To save him?

"'What am I doing here?'" I asked, hurt. "That's all your going to say? Not even a 'hello', or 'I love you', or 'Emily, you've come to rescue me from this horrible misunderstanding?'" I looked into his face. "Nothing?" I asked. He didn't even comment on my low top, WHICH I FIXED JUST FOR HIM!

"No, I'm sorry, it's just..." I rolled my eyes as he moved towards a window, trying to come up with an excuse. "...you've been gone for two years!" he whispered. WHAT? No, I have not! I turned into butterflies when I did the WORST thing in my life and let Victor marry Vic-toria, then I woke up again in the Land of the Dead and came back to right the wrong!

Or... wait. That'll explain why my two skeleton friends and Elder Gutknect were so surprised to see me! I turned into butterflies... and I guess it took me two years to rejuvenate myself once the spell realized (or I realized) that I wasn't happy with how my story ended, and it's up to me to fix it.

But that leaves one thing uncovered. "Where's Victoria?" I asked, HATING that I have to say her name!

"She's... in the washroom," Victor said awkwardly, keeping his voice low. It KILLS me (again) that he cares so much about whether that bitch hears us or not. Why does he care!? And I bet she's just getting DOLLED UP for MY husband! She's too modest, anyway. At least I show some skin! At least... she better not have... he better not... He waited for me! He knew I was coming for him and he waited! Right?
