Closing my eyes, I breathed in the night air. It felt pretty good, to a girl with no breath. The spot that I ended up in was the same forest that I landed in when I came here with... um, never mind. It's too painful now. We'll reminisce when I find him. Luckily, I remembered where he lives. I looked up at the beautiful, bright moon and promised myself that I would find him. No matter what it takes.

I attempted to pick up the skirt of my wedding gown, and ran as fast as I could through the forest. It was quite hard, considering I wasn't used to running because my skeletal leg held me back.

Too focused on getting my husband back, I tripped over... something. Splayed on the ground, I removed my vale from my face and looked back to see what I tripped over. It was the same branch that I tripped over when I danced with Victor. I got up and hopped over to my lone leg, which was attached by the foot to a curving branch. I unhooked my foot from the twisted branch and clicked my knee back into place. (Ugh. Having skeletal limbs is SUCH a struggle).

I turned back toward the path to Victor's house and ran, being a bit more careful this time, watching out for ditches and branches. I had no time to lose!
