** Liz's POV **
I put on my black ripped jeans and a dark red tank top which had our band's logo on it and slipped on my heeled boots. I wore my ususal eyeliner and mascarra and I put on some dark red lipstick as well to match my shirt. I walked towards the venue while I fussed with my fingerless gloves. Once I reached the back door, I opened it to see that BVB was standing right in front of me. They were probably about to head to their bus since their show was already finished.
Without a word, we all just stood and stared at each other. Jinxx, Jake, CC and Ashley just looked at Andy worriedly but Andy just pushed past me and stormed off, not even glancing at me as he left. The rest of them just sighed and trailed after him. Well that was awkward...
I decided to pretend like nothing happened and entered backstage where I was greeted by Fern, Henry, Max, Bob, Ray and Mikey who surprisingly hugged me. I just stood there, shocked, as they all squeezed me tightly.
" Oh my God! Liz you scared us!" Bob says, digging his face into my hair.
" What the fuck were you thinking?!" Max exclaims, shaking me frantically.
" Liz, we are so sorry!" Mikey says, squeezing me tightly.
" W-what? What do you mean?" I ask, entirely confused.
" Frank told us what happed on the roof and what you were about to do and--" Fern says, sobbing into my shoulder.
" We should've been there for you... not against you. Especially after what you've been through." Ray says with guilt all over his face.
" Please forgive us, Lizzie." Henry says, cradling me in his arms.
I smiled at them and just pulled them all into a hug, enjoying the feeling of having my friends back.
" It's no one's fault. I was actually the one being stupid. I shouldn't have thought of doing it... it was so selfish of me and just... childish. You know what? Let's just let things go back to the way they were. " I say, smiling at them warmly.
" Well if everything's settled, then we'd better get going. Our show's starting in two minutes." Max says, grabbing his guitar and already heading to the stage along with Fern and Henry.
" See you, guys. I've got a show to do." I say, waving at Bob, Ray and Mikey and winking at all of them.
" Glad to have you back, Liz!" Ray calls out to me as they head towards their dressing rooms to prepare for their own show.
And with that, I headed on-stage, still feeling a sort of emptiness even after getting my friends back. There was still one person I needed back and the sad truth was that I didn't know when he'd ever come back to me.
** Gerard's POV **
Frank and I were in our dressing room, playing cards. Mikey, Bob and Ray wanted to walk around the venue so we let them. My Last Thorns already began to perform and I was starting to feel nervous about my plan for tonight's show. What if I was too late? What if she already told herself to move on completely, knowing that I didn't run after her? I guess i'll just have to hope.
" Gee! I said 'Go Fish' about a year ago! Are you still there?" Frank asks, waving his hand across my face.
" Oh. Sorry, Frank. " I say, rubbing my eyes and sighing as I placed my cards down.
" Still thinking about her, aren't you?" Frank says, smirking at me as he placed his cards down as well.
" I never stopped." I say, running a hand through my hair.
Frank looks at me for a second and his face suddenly fills with sadness.
" Gee-" Frank tries to say but he stops himself before he could.
" What?" I ask, curiously.
" Never mind." he says, immediately turning his gaze away.
" Frank. Tell me." I say, looking at him with a serious expression.
Frank hesitates for a moment but eventually gives in to the hard expression on my face.
" It's Liz... She almost killed herself this afternoon." Frank mutters, looking up at me sadly.
I could feel my body start to tense and my face start to drop. I just stare it him in shock and disbelief.
" I found her on the roof. She was just sitting there but I knew she wasn't there just to look at the view. I knew what she was about to do and I felt like panicking but i didn't. I knew that at that time, she needed a friend... not someone who would just scream at her for what she was about to do. So after we talked, she decided not to jump anymore... thankfully...Gee, all she wants is someone to love her. After losing her parents and... you, it's obvious that she couldn't bare to live anymore. I could see how she felt. I could feel it." Frank says sadly, looking at the ground.
I bit my lip and fought back tears. This was all my fault. Why didn't I forgive her sooner? Why didn't I let her know last night how much I cared for her so she wouldn't have to result to what she was about to do?
" Gee, I want you to make things easier for the both of you by telling Liz how you feel. She needs to know and both of you need to stop kidding yourselves. I know you love each other. We all know. The only ones who don't know it are the both of you so please just tell her." Frank says, placing a hand on my shoulder.
" Don't worry, Frank. I will." I say, smiling at him reasurringly.
