Katie wasn't very happy to be heading home but she knew he was right. A break wouldn't kill her and the shower felt so great. She finally had a moment to unwind. It was about seven in the evening when Katie returned back to where she started. Evan was still what he looked like when she left but with a bit more color in his face. She just slummed herself right down into the seat beside him and watched silently.

After awhile, she planted the laptop in her lap and watched some random videos. She would come across Evan's own after a few clicks and recommendations popped up. Watching a few of them, she recognized Evan's voice as well as Lui, Craig and Tyler. They sure had a load of fun during each one and it made her smile hearing them all laugh together. I can see why Evan loved to make these videos. I don't blame him for doing it.

She turned her attention away from the screen, glancing over at the mass in the bed. She closed the laptop's lid and positioned herself next to Evan. Just like before, she laid there for sometime before dozing off again but she was awoke in the middle of the night this time. It took her a second to realize that Evan was shivering under his mass of blankets. She had to make sure it was actually him doing before lifting her head.

His dark eyes were watching as she turned the lamp on. He turned away, the light blinding him until his eyes adjusted. She could see him shaking like a leave, his lip quivering. His breathing was going in a shake with his shivering.

"K—K—Katie?" He managed to slur.

"Yes, it is me." Katie replied softly.

"W—what h—happened?" He had a really bad stutter but she still managed to figure out his words.

"You have hypothermia right now. You have to relax, even if you don't know what's going on."

"H—h—hypothermia? H—h—how?" He continued to shiver, causing his words to jump.

Katie shushed him, stroking his hair. "Because you've been exhausted. Your body did it as backlash to the infection."

"Y—you—s—shouldn't—b—be—in—h—here." He reminded her as he rested his head back.

"I know, but I can't just leave you. You would have died if I wasn't here." She continued to stroke his hair, hoping it would ease him.

"I—I—d—don't—w—want—to—d—die—t—then. P—please—s—stay."

"I'll stay as long as you want me to." She nuzzled his cheek as he shut his eyes. They fell asleep quietly, huddled close together.

The next morning, Katie felt sore and stiff as she let out a yawn. Evan was still shivering wildly under his collection of blankets. She moved back briefly, feeling like she was useless. My poor sweetheart, he must be thinking why me? Katie rubbed her face, hoping to hide her expression.

She slowly started to move away as the door swung open. Doc appeared before her, the tablet in his hands. She quietly shushed him before he nodded. "Thanks," He whispered. "I'll try my best to make it quick." He pushed his way through as he examined Evan's condition.

Katie had remained where she was, watching as Doc did his check. Evan had stirred a bit, his eyes fluttering open slowly as he shook. Doc was surprised to see him conscious but it just made his job easier. He noted his mad shaking which was a good sign, but it also caused his face to mesh into a frown sort of. Katie approached him, hoping if Evan would react first.
