Luke's POV
After the Ferris wheel ended, Lexi and I walked back to the hotel to chill out a bit before she went home. We got back into the hotel room and layed down on the bed. I got out my phone to check twitter quickly while she was replying to a text from one of her best friends Rosie. My twitter mentions was flooded. Some tweets were love and support but most of them were hate and hurt. My fans had seen that I now have a girlfriend and a lot of them were hurt. I know, I am allowed to have a normal life and have a girlfriend but I just felt so bad that I had let down so many of my fans, because in most of their eyes, I am THEIR boyfriend, whether I know it or not, and I love that, but in the end I need one actual girlfriend.
Lexi looked over at me and must have noticed that I looked upset. “What’s wrong baby?” She asked sweetly, with concern. “Ah, nothing. It’s just I’m getting a bit of hate from my fans for having a girlfriend, but it’s alright, it was my decision and I don’t regret it at all!” I said and planted a kiss on her lips. “Babe I knew this would happen” she began, “I feel so bad, because I know exactly how they feel! I was one of them just two days ago, in fact I’m jealous of me right now haha, I mean I’m dating Luke Brooks, the sassiest boy in Melbourne.” We both laughed. She carried on “If only they would stop the hate for a minute and actually listen to me, but I think we both know that will never happen.” She said, she was so worried about my fans, it was so cute to see her care so much.
She pulled her phone out of her bag and began to write a twit-longer. My chin rested on her shoulder and I read as she wrote..

As many of you know, Luke Brooks and I have recently started dating. I know how many of you are feeling right now and how much you must HATE me, because I have, in your eyes, stolen “your boy” trust me.. I KNOW!!!! As much as you will all hate to admit it, and I would too if Luke got a girlfriend that wasn’t me, if it was you in my position, you wouldn’t trade it for the world. If you could please just try and put yourself in my position. Although I am now dating Luke, I will never stop being a janoskiantor! We are a family and I love you all from the bottom of my heart and I would love to get to know each and every one of you beautiful people.

I couldn’t believe how sweet and caring she was and I just knew everyone would lay off the hate a bit after reading it. She really knew how to win people over, she won me!! I turned her around and kissed her softly on the forehead and said thankyou. I went on her profile and retweeted the twitlonger she had just posted and within seconds, both of our mentions were flooded…. All with love and apologies, thankgod something finally went right, and everyone was alright with me having a girlfriend. They had even made our couple name Leke aaww they were so cute. I wanted to let them know how much they all mean to me so I wrote a tweet..

“Luke, my friend Rosie just texted me and she’s having a party tonight so I’m going to have to go soon to get ready, it’s already 5pm, the party starts at around 9pmbut she wants me to get there a little earlier to help set up and stuff.” Lexi explained to me. The day had gone so fast, I didn’t want her to leave we were having such a good time!
And I was wondering… will you be my date?” Lexi asked and a smile spread across her face. “I’d love to come! I’ll just get some clothes to bring and then we can go” I said to her with a smile. W have got so close and we’ve only known each other for 2 days, it was crazy!
After I packed a little bag, we walked to Roma Street train station to catch the train to Lexi’s friend Mel’s house to get ready before going to Rosie’s. When we got on the train, Lexi called Mel to make sure that was alright, all I heard was Mel screaming “OMG LUKE FUCKING BROOKS IS GOING TO BE IN MY HOUSE!!!” “I’m guessing she’s a fan of the janoskians? I laughed. She then called her mum to get her to pick us up from the train station and drop us off at Mel’s house.
When we got off the train, Lexi’s mum was there to pick us up and her younger sister was in the car too. When we got in the car Lexi introduced myself to her mum and sister Isabella. Isabella was so excited to meet me haha she was so cute! “It’s lovely to meet you Luke! Lexi’s mum began, “So are you a part of the janofskians?” Her mum asked. I giggled a little. “OMG mum, they’re called the JANOSKIANS, J.A.N.O.S.K.I.A.N.S!! you’re so embarrassing!!” Lexi said, she was so embarrassed haha. “Oh, I’m so sorry haha” her mum laughed. It was quiet most of the way to Mel’s house, but it was only a short drive, about 2 minutes.
When we got to Mel’s house, she was already waiting out the front on the deck for us, she was gorgeous, she looked exactly like Lexi, “she would be perfect with beau”, I thought to myself “I should try and set them up when we got to Movie World. Mel came down the stairs and had a shy look on her face. Lexi introduced us, even though Mel clearly know who I was.. “How are you doing gorgeous?” I asked while giving Mel a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
Mel’s POV
I couldn’t believe it, Luke brooks just hugged and kissed me and called me gorgeous and was dating my best friend and was now in my house. So many thoughts and emotions were going through me right now. Maybe I could finally have a chance to be friends with the boys and hopefully get closer with beau, omg!! it was all too much to take in!
I introduced Luke to my parents and showed him and Lexi into my bedroom so they could get ready. “I just have to straighten my hair in the bathroom, if you need anything just call out alright, its 6pm now, we’ve got an hour before we have to go to Rosie’s house and help set up. Her mum and dad have gone to the sunshine coast for the weekend for a music festival so she’s got the house to her self, yay!!” I went to straighten my hair and put on my makeup in the bathroom while Lexi and Luke got ready, I could hear them giggling and mucking around, they were so cute, but I was so jealous. Why did she get to be the one who is dating one of the boys?! It just wasn’t fair, but I’m happy for them, I truly am. Lexi came in to the bathroom and did her makeup next to me and Luke followed her. “You don’t need to wear makeup, both of you!! You are both beautiful, just the way you are!” Luke said with a smile. He was so cute, but so wrong!! I feel so insecure without makeup, like most other girls, I do need it!
Before we knew it, it was time to go to Rosie’s house. We all got in the car and began to drive to Rosie’s house.
