Luke’s POV
“what are you doing here?”. I hadn’t seen my dad since he left us when we were five. 13 years since I had seen my dad. I had no idea what he was doing here and why Beau and Jai weren’t smashing his head in… my dad used to beat up our mother in front of us and was on some pretty hard drugs, I absolutely hated him and I don’t know what the fuck he was doing here….
“I’ve come back to apologise, I know I fucked up, big time! But I swear I’ve changed and I really want to get to know you boys and start being your dad again.” “Sweetie, your dad and I have decided to get back together. We have been talking and see each other for a few months now and he has really changed and I never stopped loving him.” Mum started to explain.
How the fuck could she believe this cunt?! I could not believe this is happening right now… my vision started to go blurry, I was so dizzy. My body was filled with anger and I was in shock. I felt like I was going to pass out, I needed to get out of here… FAST!!!! I needed to get away as far as I could!! I went into my room and began packing a few things, I shoved some clothes in a bag, grabbed my wallet off my bedside table and my phone and charger off my bed. My mum had come after me “Luke, please calm down baby!! He’s your dad! And he really has changed!!”
“I’m sorry mum, look I love you but I don’t give a fuck whether he’s my dad or not and I don’t give a fuck that he’s ‘changed’!!! I will never forget what he did to you… what he did to us!!! I need to get out of here for a while, I’ll call you later” And with that I carried my things into the car and turned on the ignition. I was sweating and breathing really heavy, I was so fucking pissed off at that cunt, he’s fucking lucky I didn’t smash his head in.
Beau ran over to the car window and Jai was standing at the front door in mum’s arms. “Bro, where are you going?” beau asked. “Dude, how the fuck could you be cool with this?! After what he did to mum and us! I just need to get out of here for a while… like FAR away!!” I had a thought of where I could go… the only place that came into my head. “I’m just gonna fly up to Brisbane for a while, til I clear my head!” “Alright, but be safe and don’t take too long, love you bro!” Beau said as he shut the passenger side door and I pulled out of the driveway.
I started driving to the airport and I remembered that I hadn’t replied to Lexi yet, shit! I just had so much on my mind. I pulled over to the side of the road.
Lexi’s POV
I heard the doorbell ring and mum open the door. “Lexi you’re friends are here” mum called out. “I’ll be there in a sec” I replied as I finished the last coat of nail polish on my fingernails. I had bought this new colour yesterday called “Dreams come true” it was a Midnight blue sort of colour, really nice!!
I ran out to the lounge room to greet my friends, I couldn’t wait to tell them, although I was getting a bit anxious, as Luke hadn’t texted me in an hour, I wondered whether it was maybe something I said. My friends were excited for a good night! They had stopped on the way over here and bought lot of movies and junk food, YAY!!! I showed them into my room and they made themselves at home, lying down on my bed and climbing under the covers, it was freezing as it was the middle of winter, so I joined them. My sister Isabella came in so I asked her if she could put on “Bring it on” movie for us and bring me my phone, she was such a good sister, like my own little personal slave ahaha.
I started getting a bit worried when I saw that I still hadn’t received a text from Luke. I decided before we pressed play on the movie, that I would tell the girls what had happened. They didn’t know about Luke tweeting me yet, because their parents won’t let them have twitter. My mum was pretty cool and let me do heaps of things, but not over the top of course.
“Okay girls, I need to tell you something, now don’t go mental haha” “OMG what?” Mel said “what is it?” asked Rosie. “LUKE TWEETED ME!!” I yelled happily and they both screamed with excitement. “When? Why didn’t you tell us?” they both asked. “Well it was only this afternoon haha, but that’s not the best part. He called me beautiful and asked me to Dm him, so I did and then he gave me his number and we’ve been texting since!!!” “OMG, you’re so lucky!!” Mel said. “What have you’s been talking about?” Rosie asked jealously. “Well… the Janoskians are coming to Brisbane in 2 weeks and Luke wants to hang out, with you 2 aswell!!! We are going to go to movie world and because they are going to be touring around Australia making a movie, they said they are going to film some at Movie World with us in it!!!!” “OMG, this is the best day of my life” screamed Mel, she was so excited!! “I cannot believe this is happening right now!” Rosie exclaimed, she was still in shock, and as a matter of fact so was I. “The only thing is, he suddenly stopped texting me and hasn’t replied to me in over an hour, I’m getting a bit worried, maybe I said somethi—“ I was interrupted by the sound of my ringtone, we all looked at the screen to see the name “Luke Brooks” appear…. Was Luke actually calling me? What was I going to say?..
