chapter 23

Maahi.

After that encounter with him I'm going to see him for the first time I don't want to work here anymore and I have all planned to leave this stupid internship.

"Good morning" I say while entering his office.

"Hey beautiful. Missed you"
Was his reply . How can he be so annoying all the time.

"I no longer wanna work here I have got you other student to continue my job. My college people wants me back as my grades are going down." I said looking every where but not him.

"You mean the replacement for you that came this morning who got kicked out the moment he entered. And about your grades I heard it from the principal that you are one of the brightest student they have and yeah he told me to tell you not to worry about your grades as long as you work here prominently for me they are going to add up grades for you. And most importantly I fund the college every year with good amount so they won't mind me using their one student." He explained and the only thing that made me happy was they kicked out Raj oh i so very wanted to see that. But I'm not convinced.

"Use...yeah right that is what you are doing all this time using me
I'm not bound to any contract with you then why don't you just let me go and I don't think I'll be having any work here as the project is already started.And most importantly you are redusing your bank balance by paying me" I told him controlling my anger to a great extend.

"My bank balances is not your concern beautiful I don't mind paying you to only see you. And yes you are not bound to any contract but your college management are cowerds and can't face me and I'm sure they won't allow you leave this internship at any cost." He sounded so calm.

"Well in that case I guess I need to quit the college as well it's my final year and I'll have to join a different university for my other course and I'm sure once I'm out of the college I won't be bound to anything and my whereabouts will never be revealed not atleast to you. I'll make sure of that."

He stood there with a smile that explained that he was not bothered about me leaving the college. That made me even more frustrated.

"Stop doing what you are doing."
I snapped at him.

"What do you want me to stop".
He asked.

"That stupid smile which shows you don't give a damn".

"I smile everytime you are around beautiful" he answerd.

"I'm leaving I don't want to share this office with you anymore." And just when I turned to reach the door he caught me by my waste and lifted me from the ground and spinned me towards him. All I did was hit his chest that made him smile more.

"Maahi stop it you are going to get tierd." He told while carrying me to his desk. He made me sit on his desk carefully and caught my hands which were on his chest.

"When I told you that I love you I meant it beautiful I'm in love with you and you make me happy than ever. I know it's not easy to convence you but I'm not gonna give up not on you. So you will have to tolerate me for a long time. And as far as your whereabouts is in concern I'm aware of each and every move you make you see I'm a person with an eagle eye and I won't take my eyes off you ever." He told holding my wrists and I was just listening to him and blinking like an idiot.

"Okay n-now let go" I tried my best not to stammer.

He let my hands free and kissed my cheek leaving me shocked.

I like the way she defends herself especially when I'm holding her.... tiny little Maahi. I let go her but was close enough to make sure she does not escape.

"You don't have to guard me I'll stay." She said while getting down from the table.

"That's like a good girl. Even I don't like forcing you"

"But what will I do?". She asked.

"Just smile" she let out a fake smile and asked.

"Is that enough"

"I have a new project coming all I want you to do is do a research on it and let me know what changes will make it more profitable." I explained her.

"Profits profits....that's What you have in your mind all the time. There is something called a social responsibility towards the society. Instead of that stupid hotel near the lake why don't you just construct a hostel for girls let the common people also enjoy the lake view. Nature is not only for the rich heads."

Like always she amazed me even this time. Why didn't I get this idea before.

"Well then hostel it is beautiful."

"You don't mind the bank balance reduction" she asked.

"Beautiful like I said before its not my concern. I can live another 150 years  with the same luxurious life like i have today and not go bankrupt. I think you should stop worrying about that and concentrate on the work of the hostel. I want a detailed report on the new project in a week." I told her and left the office.

She truly is a the one I always wanted. Less impressed with my money and always challenging me. I just can't stop loving her.

That went well..

i love writing I actually realised that it's my #2 stress buster.

My stupid project is driving me nuts I'll try fixing it today.

And yeah as far as my next update is in concern i have a little target to make my next update. Currently i have 793 readers for my book and i want it to increase to 1000 readers once i reach that my next chapter will be ready to be published.

I hope I'm not too demanding 😁😁 but as a new writer I need some encouragement... I hope I get it soon.
