Juvia Pov

Yesterday wasn't to bad with Gray. He was fun actually a lot of fun. I'm glad I get to have this experience.

The only problem is though is that he really does look with all of his senses. It'll be tricky getting passed him. I like a challenge. Gray and I are outside. We are just taking a walk. It was getting stuffy in that castle.

I needed wide open spaces. The castle is a gilded cage. It was made to keep us in; and others out. I hate that stupid castle. All my like I've always been "The Kings Daughter." Or "Princess." It gets so annoying. That's why I insist all the mer people call me Juvia.

Gray is pretty silent; but I've noticed that he is always watching. He is actually pretty good at constantly observing. I also look at his arm as the guilt once again comes in. One time I was swimming while reading. Yes I know it was dumb of me; but I was at a really good part in the book!!

Maerad of pellinor finally realized she loves Cadvan. I was so excited that I wasn't paying attention to what Gray said or anything. I guess that they were having guard training. Anyway as I was walking Gray shoved me over and stopped the blade.

The trainer was so shocked; and kept apologizing. I told her "Juvia wasn't paying attention so it's Juvias fault." Then I took Gray; and led him to the nearest bathroom. Then I got out a first aid kit. "Okay Gray Juvia needs you to sit still even if it stings."

Then I take out the disinfectant. The water that is surrounding us won't clean it that well. Plus were in salt water.

He hisses for a moment after I put it on; but then he remains still as I clean it. The wound isn't very large. Gray stopped the blade with his arm. It's the scariest thing that has ever happened to me. He does have a slash though. "Gray, Juvia thinks you might need stitches." I say while grabbing a needle. I quickly set it in the disinfectant.

After waiting a minute I grab a thing of thread that they had in there. I take a deep breath then look at Gray. He looks completely calm. I can't see any sign that he is worried; but I do notice his jaw is clenched so I say "Gray do you want someone else to do it." 

He gives me a suprised look then says "No, I trust you Juvia." He says while giving me a smile. I am shocked a bit though I needn't realize how close we were.

I was standing while he sat on the bathroom counter. This is the closest I've ever been to him. I feel the warmth slowly creep up my cheeks. I nod then I grab the needle. I quickly take the needle through his skin.

He hisses; and his teeth clench more. I wait a minute to see if he wants me to stop. To my surprise Gray gives a nod. So I silently continue. Then more slowly I drag it through the other end. It's a tedious job; and I feel like at any moment that I could throw up.

Finally after 20 minutes I am done. I  quickly move away from Gray. If he notices he doesn't say anything. I put away all of the tools while re cleaning them. Then I notice that my hands are stained red. With his blood.

Gray says "Thank you Juvia for being my nurse." I nod then say "N-no problem." Bring that close to him has become a problem.

He walks out as I wash my hands. I scrub furiously at them in disgust. Then I slowly fall to the ground as I think of all the events today. Waking up Gray getting injured. It's been w crazy day.

Then I remember how close we were. His legs were hanging off the edge of the counter. While my legs were in between his. A blush more furious comes to my face. Then it's gone as I Remember that I am the reason he is in that position.

My whole body trembles at the thought that he could have been seriously injured. Only cause I wasn't paying attention. The tears come to my eyes as I cry. Letting out all of my anger, my sadness, my guilt, all of it.

Grays POV

I can't believe those idiots were having sword practice outside with pedestrians. They could have killed Juvia. They are lucky that I was injured. It stung; but that was about it. Having Juvia be my nurse was quite nice. She looked so concentrated. She had tried to hide the fact that she was nervous; but I knew. I could tell her arms were trembling. It was barely though. I probably wouldn't have noticed if if she wasn't so close.

A blush covers my checks as I think about that. I was sitting on the bathroom counter; because Juvia wasn't tall enough to reach me unless I was sitting down.

Juvia looked pained as she was patching me up. Her stitches were nice and straight; and you can't really see them. Juvia did a nice job with it.

I left her in the bathroom cause it looked like she needed a moment so I gave it to her. I suddenly heard crying coming from the door.

I pressed my ear up against the door. I heard her crying; and I quickly stood up. Then I opened the door; and immediately I sit on the floor to. Her crumpled up form is small.

Her cries make my heart ache. I slowly grabbed her then I hugged her as I played with her hair. I whispered words to her. "I am fine; and your fine that's what's matters."

She sat there while crying for hours. I never moved we just sat there as I comforted her. Juvias hair was all messy; and her eyes are tear stained. Finally her crying dies down. I wait an extra ten minutes to make sure she is done. She feels good in my arms; and I don't  like her crying.

I look to see if she will talk; but she is out. Sleeping like a rock. I carefully lift her trying not to re open stitches. She is actually much lighter than I thought. Once I make it to her room I place her in bed. Then I cover her up. "Good night Juvia." I say while kissing her forehead.

As I was leaving I heard her say "I'm sorry, I'm sorry Gray sama." Gray sama? When did that happen. I stand here for s minute watching Juvia sleep. She really is beautiful even when she cries.

I made my way back up to my room. I fall asleep instantly. I dream of a girl with blue hair; and eyes saving me.
