(11) Olivia's Past

"Adrian? Aiden? Aaron? Alex?" I started asking. He just laughed "What makes you think I am an A student?" "I don't know. It's the first/best grade you can get. Why wouldn't I start asking it?" "Well, my name doesn't start with an A"

"Okay... Bailey? Barrett? Beverly? Bennett? Baxton?" I continued asking. "Beverly?! That's a girls name!!!" He said and I rolled my eyes "I just said every boys name that came into my mind!! Not my fault you're not helping me!!" I defended myself. "Not a name with B" He just said and smirked.

WHY CAN'T HE JUST TELL ME?!?!

Is he playing a game with me? Does he want to tease me with that?!

"Still not telling you honey" He said. "Connor? Anything with Chris? Collin? Cameron?" I continued asking and he just laughed at me. "I'm gonna take this as a no" I said and continued thinking.

"Daniel? Dexter? Dean? Dominic!! You look like a Dominic!!" I said. "Not a Dominic" He smirked and I groaned "Davis?" I asked and again he only laughed. "Not a name with D either..." I said.

"Felix? Florian? Fabian? Fletcher?" I asked and he looked at me. "Give it up Olivia. I'm not telling you my name" He said and I crossed my arms "You know my name, what's so bad about telling me yours?" I asked. "So if Ryder asks you with who you're hanging out with, you can't tell him a name" He said and I raised my right eyebrow "Seriously!? Like he is going to ask me that!!"

"You never know" He said and jumped off the stone "You coming?" I jumped off the stone and he caught me. "Where do you wanna bring me now?" I asked, letting go of his arms.

"You'll see" He said and took my hand and continued leading me into the forest.

We walked for a while until we arrived at a small lake. He let go of my hand and sat down in the sun. I sat down beside him and looked to the ground, playing with the grass in front of me.

"So what's the plan?" He asked and I looked up at him. "We make Reese his dream girl and make him fall for her. Like that she can prank him and stuff that we can not do because we can't get close enough" I started. He raised his eyebrows and looked at me "That's it?!"

"Well, at the end she can break his heart. He's a heartbreaker. He doesn't know what it feels like when your heart is ripped out of your chest by a stupid boy like him.

"Is there something I should know?" He asked. I sighed before I was able to answer. "You weren't my first kiss stranger" I said and started pulling the grass out of the ground.

"Who was it?" He asked and had no idea how much it hurt to tell him. How much the thought of it hurt.

"Well, it was in 4th grade and back then I was known with another first name. I wasn't Olivia Copeland back then, I was Joey Copeland. Well, that's my real first name. Olivia was and still is my second name and there was this one guy I was totally crushing on. I know I was just 9 years old but he was a dream and always defended me when people were calling me a boy or bullied me because of my name. But then he left me and never talked to me again for some girl named Tiffany. He ripped my heart out and I started hating him. When I started middle school I went to the teacher's before every class and told them to call me Olivia. From that day on I was Olivia Copeland. Joey didn't exist anymore. She was dead" I said and had a few tears in my eyes.

"You may guess who the guy is" I said and stared on the ground, watching my hands.

"Ryder?" He said and it felt like I couldn't breathe when he said the name. "Then in middle school he was gone for 2 years and by then I was Olivia for everyone and when he came back, he didn't recognize me and started bulling me"

By now he was sitting silent next to me. I think he had no idea what to say or he was thinking that he better should stay quiet. He was right with that.
