(20) Date Time

Reese' PoV

I can do this, at least that's what I am trying to convince myself. I fixed my hair for the ten thousands time, when my phone rang. I jumped a little, then answered. "Yes?" I asked, trying not to sound too nervous. Reese! You can do this!! It's the most important acting job you have ever gotten! You need to do this for Liv!

"Hey, it's Olivia. How are you doing?" She asked through the phone. I swear if she could see me right now... "I'm good. Ready for the performance of my life" I answered way more confident than I actually was. "Great! You know what you have to do?" She asked, now speaking a little more quieter than before. "Make him fall in love with me and break his heart, but you also probably know it won't work on the first date" "I know that Maia" She suddenly said. "Um... I'm not Maia" I said. "I know sorry, target walked past my door" "Explains the weird voices in the background" I said and she laughed. "I got this Liv!" "I didn't think any less of you. I gotta go. Love you. Bye" and with that she hung up.

I totally just lied to her. I was scared as hell and totally not sure that I got this.

I fixed my hair again and then I got the text that Ryder was outside my house. I took one last breath before putting on my smile and grabbing my phone and jacket and hurried outside. When I saw him staring at me, I twirled around like those models do or those girls on TV. "Hot" He said with a smirk. I gave him a brighter smile before taking shotgun.

"You look great hottie" He said. "Well thank you Mr. Handsome" I said pretending I was impressed, which I wasn't. I understand why Livey hates him that much. "So, where are you taking me?" I asked flirty. "That's a surprise" He said and started the car. I had the feeling he started that fast, so I couldn't jump out of the car.

A short time later we arrived at the date spot. Is was a picnic table with a beautiful view over the city. It was just breathtaking, just like Ryder's cologne.

Olivia's PoV

"I wonder how Reese is doing... Must be horrible to be around that guy the entire time" I said and sat down on the couch. "It's really not easy, believe me!" Fabian said and sat down next to me. I put my legs on the couch and laid them over Fabian's. "I hope she was serious when she said that she got this. If she only makes one mistake, everything is ruined. Also he will hate me forever and I will be grounded until I'm leaving for college" I sighed. "Didn't you say that Reese is a theater actress?" He asked. "Yeah, but not professional. In the school's drama club" I said and his face came closer to me when suddenly "EWWW!!"

Fabian and I pulled away and I put my legs down and both of us looked at the toddler in front of us. The little boy had his hand in front of his eyes, so he didn't had to see what we were doing. "Brandon" A short blonde said and came into the living room. "Fabian and the girl were doing ew things" He said and pointed at us. "We didn't do anything" Fabian said and raises his hands in defense. Kinda cute the little guy, if you leave out the fact that he is Ryder's son.

The blonde pick up the little boy and looked from me to Fabian and then back at me. "I'm Eliza, his older sister" She introduced herself. "Olivia" I smiled at her. "So you are my brother's girlfriend?" She asked. Fabian instantly said "We're not-" while I said "I'm not-"

Fabian and I looked each other then back at Eliza "We don't know what we are yet" He explained. "Oh well, carry on" She said and left the room with her son in her arms.

Reese' PoV

"Must be hard coming to a new city without knowing anyone" He started. Is he really pretending to be understanding!? "Well, I did know someone" I said and I was in shock once I said that. "Who?" He asked. "Don't remember the name, but I know her from summer camp when we were little, but we aren't friends anymore" I lied. Of course I was still friends with her and of course I know her name. She is the reason I'm here with you right now Duffus!!

Suddenly Ryder came closer and closer and I backed up every step he came closer. He realized that after a while "What are you doing?" He asked, sounding a little mad. "I don't kiss on the first date" I lied. I totally do that, but not when I don't like the person. Never I would kiss that jerk in a million years!!!

By now it was night and Ryder drove me home. "I had a great time, even though I always kiss my dates" he said "If someone asks, I will tell them we totally made out. Have a reputation to lose" He said and I laughed. "If you have to" I said and walked inside my house and up the stairs and jumped into the shower to wash all that Ryder off of me.
