At the age of 12 i was kidnapped ......ch 24

Standing at the door with flowers was Brian.

“Hi April. Sorry that I just showed up. Did I catch you at a bad time? These are for you.” he handed me the flowers. I places the flowers on the table next to the door. I guess he saw the bandages because he asked

“What happened?” Of coursed I lied. I was getting pretty use to it.

“It was really weird. Actually I don’t know how I did it. I burnt both my wrist trying to get dinner out of the oven.”

“Are you okay?”

“It hurts a little but I’m fine.”

“Can I come in?”

“Sure.” I step out of his way.

“Nothing changed.”

“Excuse me.”

“Nothings changed since the last time I was here.”

“You where here when?”

“I was here everyday. I was on the search team.”

“Oh.” was all I could say. For some reason Brian gave me the creeps.” I shut the door. Service can charging in barking. 

“Service down.” She stop barking but she was staring Brain down. I guess I wasn’t the only one that feel weird when Brian was around. I sat down on the sofa, Brian followed. I could tell he was about to sit right down next to me but Service beat him to it.

“Sorry she kind of antsy. She wasn’t a loud to come with me to the hospital.”

“That okay.”

“So what brings you down here?” I was getting nervous. I started petting Service.

“I want to see you. I want to see if you were okay.”

“Ya I’m fine.” 

“I you blame me.” He lost me.

“For what?”

“For getting kidnapped.”

“What. I don’t blame you.”

“Ya you do. Your just being nice.”

“No I don’t blame you I blame Claire.” I regretted I just said that.

“I do to.” That caught me off guard. I just stared at him. My dad walked in.

“Hi Brian. It’s nice to see you again.” Brian got up from the sofa and shook my dad hand.

“It’s nice to see you again too sir.” I was still stunned. I could feel my face scrunched together and my mouth slightly apart. My dad looked at him.

“Honey are you okay?”

“Ya dad I’m fine. Brian and I were just talking.”

“Okay I’ll leave.” When I knew my dad was out of ear shot I shot.

“Then Why In The World Are You Dating Her!”

“I.... I don’t know.”

“I was told you started dating her after I left.”

“Not right after.”

“I don’t get it why?”

“It kind of made me fill closer to you. I had and Still am head over heels for you. Dating the girl I loved best friend so I can feel closer to her. Claire used to talk about you all the time.” I just stared at him. I wanted to hit him. I just Service and feel the tension because she started to growl.

“Claire blamed her self for the longest time. She was also on search team.”

“She knew how much I had a crush on you and she kissed you anyway. If she hadn’t done that none of this would of happened.” He tried defending her but I cut him off.

“I think it is time for you to leave.” I stood up and so did Service. She wasn’t happy she was still growling. He stood up and followed me to the door. I opened the door and standing there was Locus. Great this day gets worst and worst.

“Sorry I’ll leave.”

“Your fine Brian here was just leaving.” Service lost her mind when she saw Locus. She pushed pass Brian which caused him to lose his balance which he quickly gain back and jump up on locus. Standing on her hind legs and her front legs on his shoulder licking him like crazy and wagging her tail.

“Service down.” She got down walked pass Brian growled and sat down by my legs and waggled her tail. Brian gave a quick nod to locus.

“Bye April. I’ll talk to you soon.” I nod and turned my focus to Locus.

“Come on in.”  he let Brain thru the door first and then he walked in. i closed the door behind him and went to sit down on the sofa. He sat down right next to me. Service jump up on the sofa and put her head on his lap.

“She in love with you.”

“Ya. How can I brake it to her that this relationship isn’t going to work because she’s a canine and

I’m human.” He whispered. I couldn’t help but laugh.

“How are you doing April?”

“I’m fine.” I stared at service.

“How does your wrist feel?”

“It hurts a little but nothing I can’t handle.”

“What happened.”

“I just sick of being under a microscope. I sick of being on a leash. Service has more freedom then I do!” He nod, Service just blinked.

“Look I promise I wont do that anymore and I promise no more hallucinations. I finally stop blaming my self for Alice.”

“That’s good.” He took my hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. My dad came in.

“Hey sweetheart. Oh I Locus where did Brian go?”

“Brian had to go.”

“Okay. Locus would you like to stay for dinner?”

“No thank you sir.”

“Are you sure?” I asked. He stood up.

“I want to see how you were doing. I was actually going to see my aunt.” 

“Oh okay. Be safe.”

“I will.” he patted service head and walked to the door.

“Bye Locus.”

“Bye April.” I turned and started walking up to my room.

“Honey dinner will be ready soon.”

“Okay dad.” I could her service pitter patter of her feet follow behind into my room. I took of my shoes and put them right by the door, I walked by my bathroom and stopped. I looked inside. It was clean, the floor was sparkling there were new towels. I could smell the bleach coming from the bathroom. I quickly shut the door. I walked over to my bed and notice that my cell phone was blinking. I opened my phone and I had miss call. I sent him a quick text.

“Hey sorry. I’ve be tied up. I’ll call you tonight.” I got a text right back.

“Okay speak to you tonight.”
