Run, Run, Run

Hey guys! This is just a random poem I wrote, hope y'all enjoy it!

Breath billowing, heart pounding,
Running though the forest in pain.
Mind racing, body trembling,
The sky cries, here comes the rain.

Their footsteps loud and clear from behind,
The fear in my viens keep me going.
Branches pierce my side and my legs.
I ignore the feeling and keep running without knowing.

Chest heaving, eyes watering,
I hear them closer than before.
Feet aching, arms shaking,
My mind begs to stop and rest, by body all sore.

Shaking my head, I have to keep moving,
Don't let them catch me.
Groaning I pick up speed,
If they do they'll never set me free.

Mouth gasping, hands flailing,
Hands grab me and pull me back.
Hair weaving, ears ringing,
They tie me down and start to attack.

My soul screams and shouts,
I'm finally at death's door.
One more stab to the heart,
Last breath, my life no more...
