When things are doing the best
Expect the worse
We can be doing great
But I expect the worse
I hurt myself more
Expecting the worse
Life treated me wrong
So I expect the worse
Things are going great
But I still expect the worse
The only thing holding me back
Is expecting the worse
Why can't I be happy
When expecting the worse
