"Goodmorning." Marcel said quietly, as we drove down the long road, passing some houses.

"Morning." I said back as I sighed. Today was going to be such a long day. I could feel it. I hadn't checked my phone, even though I knew I probably had more than ten missed calls and text messages. Rider was going to pick an argument with me at school because of this.

"You ok?" Marcel said interrupting my thoughts. I took my eyes off the road for a second to glance at him. He was actually talking to me?

"Yeah. Sorry if I make you late. I was up last night studying and didn't get enough rest."

"Its cool, really. I understand. I can tell your tired, you've got some um- toothpaste In your hair."

I felt my cheeks go pink. Well isn't this embarrassing? I was about to say something when he leaned over and wiped it off.

"Thanks." I said, my eyes trying hard not to meet his.

"Welcome."

It was quiet the rest of the way. The only thing that made noise was the radio, playing some overated pop song I hadent heard.

We finally arrived at school, still no one talking. I pulled up to my usual parking spot turning off the engine.

"Thanks for the ride. My moms picking me up after school." Marcel said as he looked out the window.

"Oh its no problem at all. If you ever need one again just let me know."

"It's ok. My car should be here tomorrow. It's still be shipped."

I nodded my head feeling a bit hurt. Even though Marcel didn't talk to much, it was kind of cool to have some company in your car besides your boyfriend or friend. I got out the car and aswell as Marcel.

He didn't hesitate to walk off leaving me by myself.

"Hey G." I felt someone booty bump me, causing me to stumble a bit. Taylor.

"Hey Tay."

"Whos the new kid?" she said as we walked side by side each other.

"Oh you mean Marcel?"

"Ew. Talk about ugly."

I elbowed her side.

"Ow!"

"Don't be mean. He's my neighbor." she chuckled and rolled her eyes.

"Oh I see what this is. Your mommy made you promise again didn't she?" I ignored her as I made my way to my locker. Just because my mom made me promise, doesnt mean anything. If she hadn't made me promise I would most likely still have been nice to Marcel.

"Boyfriend alert." Taylor whispered. I shut my locker and turned around to see Rider standing up on me.

"Well hello to you too." I said a little bit annoyed. I didn't want to be around Him nor Taylor right now.

"Have you heard of texting back? It exist you know."

"I was busy."

"Yeah whatever." He grabbed my hand pulling me along down the hallway. Sometimes I ask myself why were even together.

Like I said before, it was going to be a long day.
