I hummed off beat to 'Teenage Dirtbag', as I tried hard to focus on studying for my Chemistry test. That class wasn't an easy A for me. Though I wanted to pass the class with atleast a B- I failed to meet my expectations.
I've got way to many people and things that catch me off gaurd. For one, my best friend Taylor is in that class. The only thing that girl pays attention to, is sex. I usually hear some rumor about her, before she can even tell me what happens. Two, my boyfriend Rider sits behind me, and I can usually feel his hand creep up on my ass every now and then.
I'm not the one to complain, but since I actually do care about graduateing from that dump, I'd love it if I could get my education.
I closed up my book and bonked my head on it. I swear if I end up going to summer school im dead. It's bad enough my parents are on top of me about it now.
I decided to push the fact aside and go for a jog. I wasn't sure how the weather was since my blinds were closed, exiting out the beauty of nature. I walked over pulling them back being hit by bright light. Gotta love Cali.
As I was gazing out the window I saw a moving truck parked next door to me. Since when did we get new neighbors?
"MOM?" I yelled out.
"I'm downstairs Georgia." I rolled my eyes at her laziness to come to my room.
As I walked down stairs I heard talking and the sound of cups being clinged. I got closer to the living room giving me, a better look.
"Oh there see is. Anne this is my daughter Georgia. Georgia this is Anne our new neighbor." my mom said as Anne got up to give me a welcoming hug. I hugged back and put on my fake smile, like I'm told to do all the time.
"Hi nice to meet you."
"Oh and honey this is her son." I hadn't recognized the boy who was sitting down where his mother had been sitting. His hair was slicked back, except for the part up front that was parted to the side. He wore a long sleeve collard shirt, with a sweater vest over it. I've never met a guy, who looked so uptight and serious.
He stood up from the seat that now had a dent in it from his bum.
"Hi my name is Marcel." he held out his hand, meaning for me to shake it.
"Oh, hi .I'm um, Georgia." I said as I took his warm, sweaty palm into mine. By the looks of it, I could tell he was nervous.
"Georgia, Marcel will be going to the same high school as you. Isn't that great?" my mom exclaimed.
I nodded my head trying to look enthusiastic. Marcel may look and seem nice but we both know he's not really my cup of tea.
