I threw myself on my bed exhausted and hungry. Mom wasn't home so it was just me, myself and I. I was sort of glad she wasn't here, I needed a little time to myself every once in a while.

My wrist still ached from Rider squeezing and tugging on it. I was so glad I didn't see him for the rest of the day or Taylor. God finally answered my prayers.

It was only five fifty and I just wanted to go to bed. I knew I couldn't because my mom would probably wake me up an hour later. I had to keep myself occupied and awake.

I got up and looked out my window to see if Marcel was home. Apparently he was since his room window was facing mines. He was laying on his bed looking at his phone.

Yeah yeah I know what your thinking why even bother. Something told me if I just talked to him without our moms forcing us to and outside of school he'd like it. So I did the unthinkable. I opened my window and threw a pen trying to get his attention. I thought it didn't work so I turned around to grab something else. The only thing that came to mind was a mini football Rider gave to me.

Since I didn't really care for it to much I decided to throw it. I turned around not even noticing Marcel was standing at the window. Next thing I knew I threw the football right at his head.

"Ouch!" Marcel grabbed his forehead and shut his eyes tight.

"Oh god I'm so sorry! I didn't see you."

Great way to start a conversation. What was I even thinking. He shook his head and shrugged it off.

"How can I help you love?" he said as he tried to get over the pain from the mini ball.

"I just wanted to see if you were home. My moms not here so I'm kinda alone." I felt butterflies flutter in my stomach. Why was I so nervous to talk to him?

"Did you want me to come over?"

"You don't have to. I-" I was cut off by him jumping out his window. It wasn't like our houses were high or anything.

"Little help?" he said. I grabbed his arm, gaining him some boost to climb into my window. As he dusted him self off I noticed his hair wasn't slicked back. It was out. He had on a long sleeve shirt with khaki shorts on.

"Where you going out?" I asked as I scanned his body.

"I just got home." he made his way across the room to sit down on my chair. He looked so different.

"Oh." was all I could say.

"Where's your mom?"

"Probably at work."

"Dad?"

"My parents are divorced. He's a dentist out side of Santa Barbra." I felt a little uncomfortable telling him this. We haven't even known each other for a week and im already telling him my personal life. I guess that was the only way to be comfortable with him.

"Sorry for asking." he said as he scratched his head. His curls ran perfectly through his fingers. Oh how I wish I could just feel them. He didn't say anything else. He went on his phone as I went on my computer. It stayed like that for almost an half an hour, but I enjoyed it.

"Georgie are you-" my mom walked into my room stopping once she saw Marcel.

"Oh hi Marcel!"

"Hi Ms.Rose." Marcel got up from his seat .

"Oh you don't have to leave. I just wanted to see if Georgia was home."

"Oh no I have to go anyways. My moms probably wondering where I am." My mom smiled at Marcel then to me.

"Uh, bye Georgia." Marcel said as he pushed pass my mom. Once the front door closed my mom smiled at me with excitement.

"Mom don't-"

"What's up with you too?"

"He just came over. That's all."

"Mmhmm." she rolled her eyes and backed out of my room. Why does she have to assume so much?
