Second Chances

(Camila's POV)
I woke up from a voicemail from Shawn. "Camila we should hang out again I'll be over by 10:00(am) call me" Shawn said through the voicemail. I started to blush. WHY WOULD I BLUSH. I tried to forget that even happened and took a shower.
I got out of the shower and started to sing stitches by Shawn. It's been in my head since yesterday. (currently 9am). As I was in the middle of blow drying my hair I heard a knock on my door and wondered who is was.
I opened my hair still damp and it was Shawn. "What are you doing here? I thought you-" he cut me off by kissing me. It felt good then I realized what I was doing. "Shawn no" I said after I broke up the kiss. "You have a girlfriend" I said. "I know but I can't. I'm. Im crazy about you Camila" he said. "No Shawn I can't do this again you need to leave!" I said starting to yell. "You need to understand when I first saw you at the coffee shop I fell in love with you all over again" he said while grabbing my hands. "I'm not ready. I'm sorry" I said while letting go of his hand.
I started to move toward him so he would back out of my apartment. He was finally outside I saw his eyes watery. "Don't do this I don't want this right now I'm barely have my life together" I said. "I should've never came" he said and then left.
When I closed the door I made myself coffee and started to think.
would being with Shawn be so bad?
Of course he's famous everyone will hate me
No what if I don't get as much hate?
I can't risk it
I gave up on trying to convince myself to date him. Because I can't. I needed someone to talk to. I checked my contact list and called Ally. I haven't talked to her in over a year. But I don't care I need her help.

Ally: Hello?

Me: Ally?

Ally: Camila?

Me: yea it's me I just. I have no one else to talk to and your the person I know who can help me

Ally: what is it?

Me: I can't say this on the phone do you still live in Florida ?

Ally: no I'm actually in New York

Me: REALLY ? ME TOO

She told me what part of New York and I drove right away. When I got there I told her everything. She hugged me and it was like high school again.
         "Ugh he's a jerk how could he do that to his girl?" She said. "I know I felt so bad for her" I said. "Camila. Do you like him though? I mean honestly?" She said. "No of course not I don't even know him" I said trying not to sound like I did. But do I like him? I mean maybe but it's not right. I can't do that to his girlfriend. Yes I don't know her but it's not right.
            Ally let me stay the night because we were talking for hours and I didn't realize it was one in the morning. I was about to sleep when I got a call. It was Shawn. I didn't know what to do. "ALLY!" I yelled from her living room. "Yeah what's up?" She said. "Look! What do I do!" I said while showing her my phone. "ANSWER!" She yelled. "NO I CANT ITS TOO SOON" I yelled back.
           She grabbed my phone and clicked the answer button then she threw the phone at me. I caught it and answered. "H-hello?" I said very nervously. "Camila" Shawn said very loud. "Shawn what wrong?" I said. "Um well I'm at your place and. Well I should've called to see if you were home" he said. "Are you waiting in the rain?" (It's raining)I said. "Yea I took a cab" he said. "Okay well I have a spare key in the bush by the door so you can get inside. I'm on my way" I said. "Thanks" he said then hung up.
             "You're leaving?" Ally said. "I have to I mean he's at my apartment" I said while grabbing my bag. I started to walk to put the door. "Thanks for everything ally" I said. "No problem good luck" she said with a smirk. I laughed then left.
                When I got home it was 2am. I opened the door and Shawn was asleep on the couch. I sat down next to him and tried to wake him up. He finally woke up. "Hey I wanted to let you know I'm home" I said quietly while he was half asleep. He was falling back to sleep and I went to my room.

          The next morning I woke up to someone singing. I got up and it was Shawn singing in the kitchen. "Did I wake you up?" He said while I was walking towards him. "No it's fine. What are you doing?" I said. "I made breakfast" he said while handing me a plate with eggs and bacon. "You really didn't have to do this" I said while laughing and taking to plate.
            I sat at the table and Shawn sat with me after he made his eggs. I was eating and Shawn was just staring at me. "You're beautiful when you get up in the morning" he said. "Shawn don't do this" I said. "It's a compliment you can at least say thank you" he said. "Thanks I guess" I said while laughing. "Can I take you out on a date" Shawn said while grabbing my hand. "Don't Shawn please" I said while letting go. "No I won't you need to give me a chance" Shawn said while grabbing me hand again. "Okay fine" I said while getting up.
              I went to go wash the dishes and said "what time?" I looked across the room and Shawn wasn't at the table. Then I turned around he was there. "STOP YOU SCARED ME" I yelled. He just laughed then I laughed. He helped me wash the dishes and then left to his hotel. I texted him after.

Me: you never said what time??!

Shawn: 3? (It's 2)

Me: how do I dress 😂

Shawn: normal idk lol

Me: okay

         I started to get ready and wore a regular shirt with sweater over and with some jeans. Shawn picked me up at 3 and he was dressed normally too. He had a basket with food in it. "I know you hate the whole cameras thing and stuff so I thought we'd have the date here." He said with a big smile. I could feel myself blushing but I opened the door wide so he could come in.
          "I brought a lot of movies" Shawn was saying while taking everything out. We sat on the couch and watched the first movie. I didn't know what to do I mean this was a date but with movies you don't really talk and I did want to talk to Shawn more. I know how much Shawn really likes me and I want to start to like him again.
           I started to lean in close to him and he put his arm around me. I looked at him then he looked at me. We started to kiss and it lasted a while. I stopped it with me still close to him "first date kiss nice" I said sarcastically. "Well it's not our first date I mean we had a lot of dates in high school" he said while smirking. "Really you're going to bring up high school" I said starting to get upset remembering all the horrible memories.   
            I was about to get up and walk away until he grabbed me hand and pulled me back in his arms. I stared at him not knowing what to say. "Don't think about high school" he said quietly but loud enough for me to hear. He kissed me and I kissed back this kiss lasted way long than the last one. I broke up the kiss again and said "we should eat" while laughing.
            We ate the food and watched another movie after. It was currently 9:00 and I fell asleep on Shawn's chest.
             I woke up on the couch with a note on the movie we watched. I picked up the movie and the note said "thanks for the second chance" with a heart next to it. I smiled and went to take a shower
