[Jack's POV]

"Jack, meet our new neighbors." Dad said and I scratched my head before waving my hand and smiling at the girl that was facing us.

"H-hey." I said and the girl with the brown hair held the blonde girl's shoulder and turned her around.

My smile dropped when I saw those pair of ice-like blue eyes for the first time in one year, she looked at me in shock and I'm pretty sure that I was reflecting her reaction. She shook her head before glaring at me, she turned around and walked to their house...which was right beside ours. I couldn't do anything, nor say anything. I was just frozen at my spot. My tongue was tied up, I can't even call her name and tell her that I want to talk to her. "Jack? Earth to Jack?" I blinked a few times before I saw Emma standing in front of me. "Are you okay? You look like you saw a ghost. You know, we have table salt in the kitchen."

I shook my head and chuckled a bit. "I'm fine, Ems. Let's just go inside." I said and took a last glance at the Winters' residence before I got inside ours. I can't believe it...SHE'S my neighbor!

[Elsa's POV]

"Hun, are you okay?" Mom asked and I looked at her with wide eyes, then at the soup that was screaming for attention, and then at Anna who was looking at me worriedly.

I sighed. "I'm fine, just saw a ghost from the past."

Anna gasped and immediately stood up. "WHERE?!"

"Anna, not kind of ghost." I rolled my eyes. "It's our new neighbors."

"Why, who are our new neighbors?" Anna asked, raising an eyebrow a bit.

"The Overland family." I sighed. Mom dropped her jaw while Anna also dropped her spoon.

"The who?" Anna asked again before standing up. "That's it."

"Anna, just leave him be." I said calmly. "Besides, that was soooo a year ago."

Anna just shrugged before she settled down and continued sipping her soup. "K.fine."

[Rapunzel's POV]

*Wednesday, Jan. 20*

Though our classes starts at 9, I decided to come to school earlier to borrow a Physics book from the library, after that, I went to our usual spot in the grass field and read the book. I only stopped reading when a shadow covered the sunlight, I looked up and saw Eugene smiling at me shyly. "Hey, Punzie." He greeted and I smiled back at him.

"Hey, Eugene, come sit."

He sat beside me and cleared his throat. "So, uhm...I've been thinking." He started. "I-I always wanted to ask--ask you t-this--" He stammered which confused me a bit. The confident leader of the Big 4; Eugene Fitzherbert never stammers. "Punzie...I--" He trailed off and took a deep breath, he opened his mouth but then he ended up closing it again.

"What?" I asked confusingly.

"Will...will you go to prom...with me?" He asked and my eyes widened. Did...did he just invited me...to prom? I felt my heart stopped beating for a second, I almost assumed that I was dead. But I blinked a few times so I know I'm still alive.

"I take your silence as a no then." He said sadly.

"Yes!" I blurted out and he looked at me in shock. "I mean, no, yes! No?" I furrowed my eyebrows, confusing myself and he chuckled.
