Ashlyn: Growing up on the edge of town with her ailing grandmother, twenty year old Ashlyn Eberhart has always been an outsider in the elite community of Harland, Virginia. As a result, it’s no surprise that when her high school crush Lyle Cambridge is back in town, he never even notices her.
Lyle: After a year of playing college football in Alabama, Lyle decides that college is not for him, and he wants to come back to Harland.
