Okay, so we know that Harry sees himself along with his parents in the first year in the Mirror of Erised. But what if after the Battle of Hogwarts, he starts seeing himself with a bunch of other people like Remus, Sirius, Tonks, Fred, Dobby etc.
I mean, in the first year, by the time he sees the Mirror, he has known only the loss of his parents and no one else close to him. But by the time he kills Voldemort, he has known great loss. So, what if his deepest desire is that no one should have died for him, rather than his parents being alive?
