(Taeyeon's POV)
It has been a few months, since that her ex-boyfriend started seeing her other bestfriend. Her eye-smiles are appearing more often, which makes some of the pain in my heart disappear. I thought that just because she was happy, that I would be happy myself. But we're starting to drift apart. All day long, she stares at her phone waiting for something. A text message? But from who? At times when I call her, she picks up with such a happy tone, but then ends it with an "Oh, it's just you." and that one phonecall would last for less than 10 minutes, when before, we would fall asleep to each others' breathing.
I'm starting to spend more time with my other friends than her. I always see her in class, and then at recess, lunch and after school, she would suddenly disappear. Is there something wrong with her? Is she avoiding me? Or, did I do something wrong? Tears are running down my face. I just miss her so much.
(Tiffany's POV)
10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6.. 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1! YES! The bell finally rings, I've been waiting for this day since like forever! The hottest guy from the soccer club, Jay, asked me to go watch some movies with him and his friends. And of course, I said yes! He told me to bring along some of my friends. I think I should call Tae Tae.
"Hello?"
"Yah, Tae Tae. What's wrong with your voice?" What's wrong with her? She seems so tired and dead. Has she been crying?
"Haha! It's nothing. I just feel a little sick, Fany-ah."
"Oh, I see. I was going to ask you to come with me to watch a movie with Jay and his friends, but you don't seem too well."
"Jay invited you to the movies? When did this happen?"
"Yes, he did. He asked the other day. I'm so excited. I was watching him train yesterday and like OMG. He's so hot!" I started to ramble on about Jay and how he asked me.
"Fany-ah, I'm going to go now. I don't feel so well."
"Okay then, I'll come over later to see if you're okay. Bye Tae Tae, I love you! ~"
(Taeyeon's POV)
"Okay then, I'll come over later to see if you're okay. Bye Tae Tae, I love you! ~" I. love. you. Those three words that she just said made my heart flutter. Even though, she didn't mean it in that way, but it still caused butterflies to flutter around in my heart and in my stomach. I really hope that she doesn't come over later. I don't know how to explain about the red, puffy eyes I have to her..
But, I finally understand why she hasn't been hanging out with me lately. It's because of Jay. Jay this, Jay that. What is so good about Jay anyway? He's rich. I'm rich. He has abs. I have abs. He's in the soccer club. I'm in the soccer club. He's smart. I'm smart. He can sing. I can sing. Why can't she choose me over him? Ah, Kim Taeyeon, she would never choose you! You're just a short, dorky girl! Tears started streaming from my eyes again, and soon my vision started to blur.
