Me? A Model? Never Again...
Chapter 5
The next morning I woke up a little bit earlier than normal to give me more time to get ready. I wanted to look good today. I don't really know why but I do. Today, I picked out a white sundress that went to mid-thigh with a brown belt around my waist with a pair of white gladiator sandals.
After I got out of the shower I threw on my under clothes and went over to my mirror to curl my hair. After that I put on a bit of eyeliner, mascara, and chap stick. When I finished getting ready, I grabbed my backpack and ran out the door to my car.
My grandparents both had already left for work so I just drove off.
On the way to school I stopped at a bagel place to eat and then continued on my way to school. I pulled into an open parking space and got out. As soon as I was completely out I was surrounded by people.
“Wow, no wounder they all hung out wit her yesterday.” I heard one girl say.
“She's hot.” Some guy said.
“Not for long.” I heard someone mumble.
Turning my head looking for the source of the noise I found no one looking suspicious. Shrugging my shoulders and tuning back around to face everyone, I put on my lovely, innocent, looking smile and as politely as I could said, “Hi, my name is Jesse. I would love to meet all of you but unfortunately, I'm afraid I need to get going.” with that, I quickly maneuvered my way through the crowd and headed toward the entrance of the school.
I got about half way there before I heard foot steps behind me running to catch up.
“Hey! Wait up.” I heard the person call.
I looked over my shoulder to see who was running towards me but when I did I nearly tripped over my own two feet. He looked like he just stepped right out of a cliche book. Now I admit, I have seen my fair share of hot guys but this guy looked almost too good for reality. He had really nice blond hair and bright blue eyes. His shirt made his muscles stand out and he had this smile that just made you want to trust him.
I slowed down so he could catch up. When he did, he turned to face me offering me his hand.
“Hey, I'm Jay and since you are kinda new I thought you might need some help finding your way around. I'd be happy to give you a tour if you'd like.” I took his hand and shook it while smiling up at him trying to be polite. I may be new and he may seem nice right now but I know just how convincing some people are when acting.
“That would be nice but I'm afraid I've already had me tour of the school.” I lied. “Thank you though.”
He seemed like a nice enough person but right now all I want to do is find Jordan.
