Me? A model? Never again...

Chapter 2-

---Flashback---

It was my first day of kindergarten. I was only five years old in a pink frilly dress with pigtails sitting on each side of my head. I was waiting in line outside my classroom door waiting for the teacher to let us in when a group of boys stepped in front of me. The one closest to me was much bigger than me but that didn't give him any reason to think it was okay to cut in line, especially in front of me.

"Hey, no cutting in line. Go stand in the back." I demanded holding my head up high trying to appear bigger than I am. He turned around to face me and all I saw has a huge pare of green eyes looking at me.

"Oh sorry there shorty, didn't even see you there." he said with a smirk pulling up at the corner of his mouth.

"Well then you need glasses. How could you not see me!" I replied getting angry.

"Whoa, chill out there little one. I'm sorry, we didn't mean to cut in front of you. I'm Jordan and these are my friends" he said jerking his thumb back pointing at the group of boys standing behind him.

"Yeah well.. just don't do it again" was all I could come up with.

"haha yeah okay. So are you gonna tell me your name or do I have to ask someone else for it?"

"My names Jessica but I don't like it very much."

"Okay then Jessica, I'm gonna call you Jesse and you are gonna be my best girlfriend. "

---End Flashback---

My eyes flew open as the long ago memory came back to me. Jordan was my friend? He was the reason I starting going by the name Jesse? No wonder he looked so familiar! Those eyes. They hadn't changed a bit.

By now we were almost home so Lois and Walter were discussing what to do over weekend. I wasn't tired yet and I wanted to do something so now would be the best time to unpack everything I guess.

When we pulled up to the house I got out of the car, into the house, and up the stairs to my bedroom to start unpacking. In the end I took six hours to unpack and organize everything so by the time I finished I was exhausted. It was now dark outside so I assume it's past 6:00 pm. There was no sound coming from downstairs so I' m guessing everyone went to sleep.

I really wanted to take a shower when I finished unpacking but I don't want to wake up anyone turning on the water. I guess I will just have to take one tomorrow morning then; and with that I changed into a pair of shorts and a thin tank top and fell asleep.

The weekend seemed to fly by just catching up with my grandparents and getting ready for school that before I knew it, it was Monday morning and my alarm clock was attempting to wake me up. Little did I know, my grandmother seemed to know I was not a morning person so when I reached over to turn off the annoying beeping coming from my alarm clock it wasn't there. I slightly lifted my head off of the pillow curious as to where the alarm clock was, only to find it slowly moving away from me. Darn it! She got those stupid alarm clocks that move so you are forced to get up to turn the thing off.
