Chapter 3- The hunt

Damon's POV

 I mind-linked Jack, Louis, Harry, Simon and Trent. They where coming to the pack's house. While I waited I thought about Skylar. I still haven't marked her yet. And other males may look at her... My wolf echoed. I growled slightly. She is mine. My mate. Right when I was about to mind-link her Louis came running up to me in wolf form with the others following him. I guided them into the forest then stripped down and transformed into my wolf. I put my clothes around my ankle then started leading them around the border. When we got near the side where the cliff is towards The pack of burning ashes.

Simon coughed. "Are you okay?" I asked him through mind-link. He started gagging. "I can smell death." He answered. For a second I thought he was going to puke but then Trent started growling. I whipped my head around to face this dark shadow I took a step closer but I noticed it was floating in mid air and I was right on the border line. Me Louis, Harry, Simon and Trent all surrounded the shadow. Then it hissed and this tall skinny vampire with light brown hair and bright green eyes landed on the ground. Then suddenly Louis gasped. I looked at him in wolf form then I noticed a twinkle in his eye as he looked at the female vampire. "Shit..." I murmured. Louis mate was this vampire.  Simon sat there wide eyed  and Harry and Trent both yelled in mind-link. "NO!" Louis took a step closer and shifted into human form. "Mate." He said. This time I gagged. I mind-linked Skylar. "Skylar we got a bit of a problem, Louis found his mate, VAMPIRE mate." I growled. "WHAT?!" She screamed back. "Yeah it's a tall girl with bright green eyes and light brown hair." I said back. Then I heard a gasp. "No no no no no no NO!" Skylar cried back. "What?" I asked her. "T-that v-vampire is RAINE!" She howled. "Raine?" I asked in confusion. "I'll tell you later... Rose has to hear this." Then just like that she blocked my mind-link. "Guys we need to head back. But Louis..." I sneered. "You figure THIS  out for awhile." I growled and stalked off with the boys following me.

Skylar's POV

I screamed. At the top of my lungs. I don't know what to do. Why Raine? Shit. I opened my mind-link to Rose. "ROSE!" I cried. "Skylar? What's wrong?" She asked. "R-Raine, SHE IS LOUIS MATE!" I screamed. Then I heard a loud smash. "Crap!" Rose yelled. Then the line was quit for a minute. "Moms gonna be pissed." I heard Sage say. "Rose..." I mumbled with a smirk. " Yea yea I broke a picture. Shut up about it." She said, obviously furious. "What are we going to do?" She asked quietly. "I have no idea..." I said.

Sage's POV

I was watching TV with Rose then I glanced at her and noticed she was on mind-link with someone. Then suddenly she yelled: "WHAT?!" And grabbed mom's picture and smashed it. I dropped my bowl of macaroni on my lap. "Mom's  going to be pissed." I said as she glared at me. I started eating my macaroni again and watched The Simpsons. I started thinking about the rumor's I've heard. Does Skylar really have a mate? I decided I really needed to know so I asked Rose. Rose nodded. "Apparently it's Damon! The really cute beta!" She squealed. My jaw dropped. My crush... Has a mate. Yes Skylar Marie had always been my crush even though she isn't my mate. I walked into my room and walked over to the punching bag I had and started punching it really hard. I might as well just give up. I got beat up by an Alpha and crushed by Skylar.

GAH I FINALLY FINISHED CHAPTER 3!!!

I'm so sorry I haven't updated in so long it's just twice i've tried to right this chapter and my brother AND my dad shut down the computer when I was still working on it :(

Today I officially made THREE POV'S. And I know that they weren't that big but still WHATEVER/

I WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FOR 403 READS ON MY BOOK!!! Yes I know it's not a lot for some people but it is for me!!! Literally. When I found out that this was 403 read I could smell sounds. No joke.
