Alyssa POV
"Hey Der, could you give me a ride home. I didn't realize it but my phones dead, so I can't call anyone."
Derek offered me a smile with his yes. I'm glad we had the talk that we did. It helped me realize a lot of things and remember my past again.
Laura, Derek's sister, was the one who took my memories away but not permanently. Unfortunately, she was the one in the woods. She was why Derek came here.
Speaking of, Derek comes back after paying. "You know, we've spent 7 hours just talking here and eating" he says. My eyes grow big. However, I did tell him about my life for the past years and him his. Then we talked about Laura which led into a conversation about my memories and why they were taken away. We decided it was for my safety. Derek and me went through our old stories and shared laughs about when the whole hale family and me and my grandmother would go over. Finally, we talked about me.
Derek thinks I'm a type of supernatural. That's another reason Laura took my memories away. A few spots still weren't there that Derek couldn't remember either. But for seven whole hours?
Derek laughs at my expression before leading me to his gorgeous black Camaro. I think this is the most he's laughed in a long time and the thought brings a smile to my face.
"Do you know where I live, or do you need directions?" I ask. "I know" he smirks at me.
"Should I be worried?" I tease in response.
"Probably."
I laugh along with him. However, as soon as we reach my street his face grows solemn. "The Alpha's been here" he states.
"How can you tell?" I question looking around. He ignores my question. "We have to get out of here." He says.
"Where would we even go now?" I question, worried. I receive no response as Derek drives away. My protests drown after the serious look on his face. I sit quietly and just wait.
----------------------------------------------"How do you know where Danny lives?" I fretted, completely bewildered.
I turn to Derek to see him looking nervous for the first time. "Eh I kind of recognized you but I wasn't sure. Until your heart rate went up when you saw me." "You followed me" I asked in disbelief.
He just shrugged and unlocked the door. "Make sure you stay careful Al. I can't lose you again." My face softens as I look at him. He looked tired yet alert as if someone were to attack us. Granted the alpha was out there.... "Yeah" I reply with a soft smile. "I'll take care of myself."
I close the door behind me before walking up the driveway I knew so well. I took a right and the knocked on the front door I knew so well. I waited for someone to open it while watching Derek drive away. "Alyssa! Where the hell were you?"Third POV
Danny was pacing his room waiting anxiously. He kept checking his phone every few seconds and was beginning to become impatient. His parents had just left and he decided to leave too. Jackson, Allison, Lydia, Stiles, and Scott were all looking for Alyssa frantically while he had to wait until his parents left. The whole day was filled with panic and worry for her. Especially when Lydia said she wasn't at her house. Until his phone rang. With unbelievable speed, for a human, Danny answered the call. "Did you find her? Is she all right? Jackson?"
There was a pause on the other line and it was enough to give Danny his answers. "I'm trying!" Danny worry for Alyssa soon became worry for another friend.
"Jackson are you okay? Listen we're going to find her. You sound stressed. It's late. I'll go out and look for her and you go home." He knew Jackson wouldn't go home but it was worth a try. Jackson was already stressed and the disappearance of the only person who really knew him was making it worse. Not even Danny himself knew Jackson full backstory and emotions. How he always was trying to prove something to his nonexistent real parents. Only Alyssa did. "I-I can't. And you know that too, Danny. I just called to s-" Danny's attention went to the door. "Hold on, someone's knocking." He made his way to the door. Hoping it was Lydia or someone who might know where Alyssa was. He swung open the door keeping Jackson in the line before his mouth opened in shock at the person before him. "Alyssa?! Where the hell were you?" She looked up at him sheepishly as there was commotion on the other line. Jacksons frantic voice was heard shouting from the phone. "Alyssa's there? Why? Tell her to stay I'm coming over. I'll be there in a few minutes." The phone went dead as Alyssa winced. Even from the distance, she could hear the worry in Jacksons voice. She made her way inside the house, specifically not making eye contact with Danny knowing her guilt would take over. Time for the questions.Alyssa POV
Jackson rushed in and without a word checked over me like Danny had once he got over his initial shock. I tried to assure him I was fine but he didn't stop until he was satisfied with what he saw. The moment he stopped I knew I was in deep shit. Danny could obviously tell too as he shot her an apologetic look but didn't take any action. "Where the hell have you been? Everyone has been looking for you everywhere. You made me speak to freaking McCall and the spastic kid. You couldn't text someone for one moment and say you were fine? Reply to any of the millions of texts and calls I left you?" My eyes widened with each word that left his mouth. I didn't know they cared so much.
Jackson and I would get together to talk about our parent issues, or really any problems. Either talk, get drunk, or watch movies just all night long and I didn't realize how strong our bond was. The only thing I had to say was "I'm sorry." Both of their eyes softened as they heard how weak my voice was. "My phone died and I lost track of time. I... Uh... Well I finally found a connection to my grandma. An old family friend. I didn't realize how much you guys cared-" I was immediately wrapped up in two hugs cutting me of. "Of course we care." We all stayed there for a moment, yes including Jackson, before I broke the silence. "I'm crashing here by the way and taking your bed Danny."--------------/-/------------------------------
So I've made some changes to the story about Alyssa's and Jackson relationship.
