Cam
It's been a few weeks since Jade and I went to see Madame Marcella. Although we both agreed it was crazy to believe anything she said, Jade hasn't taken the necklace off. To my surprise, Jade smiles more, we get the dreams less, but it takes away my excuse to sneak over to see her. She said I can still come over whenever. She said she likes when i'm there, and that she feels safe.
I suppose i'm her bodyguard from her dad now. She made me breakfast saturday morning, somehow she knew I love bacon and french toast. I ate almost all of it. I would have ate her plate too, but she wouldn't let me. She laughed at me when I pigged out.
On my way over around midnight, I notice Jade waiting for me on her porch. I smile and hug her. "you knew i'd come over?" She laughs and pokes my nose "Cam you come over every night, i'd get worried if you didn't." I smirk and pick her up on my back and walk inside. "candles? did I miss something?" She shakes her head and holds my hands. "No Cam, you didn't miss anything, It's technically not till morning... it's midnight... and it's our... 4 month anniversary."
I gulp softly, she laughs, knowing I forgot, but she's not mad. "Dont worry, I forgot too, I just realized when I looked at the calendar." I sigh in relief and pull her close, hugging her. She looks up at me and blushes. "I didn't get you a gift... but there is something I can give you." I feel my face turn red and I look at her confused. She giggles. "relax Cam, it's nothing bad, and it's nothing we haven't done before." She stands on her tippy toes and kisses me softly, I smile kissing her back.
I wrap my arms around her and pick her up. She giggles and kisses me more. I run her upstairs and toss her on her bed. She giggles and tosses a pillow at me. I dodge and land next to her and I smile and start tickling her.
As she squirms she keeps pulling her nightgown back down into place. I smile and and kiss her as the ticking stops. She wraps her arms around my back and I touch my nose to hers. "I love you Cam, I know we've never said it before but, I really do love you." I blush and touch her cheek, "Jade, I love you too." She kisses me again and we laugh holding each other close as we fall asleep again.
We wake up to the morning sun pouring in the window, I hear my dad next door screaming my name. "shit... he knows i'm gone," Jade sighs and kisses me quickly, "you better go, he doesn't seem to like me very much, I doubt he'll approve of you being over here."
I sigh "i'm sick of it, I shouldn't have to sneak out to see my girlfriend... I turn eighteen in a week, when that happens i'm moving out of that house." She blushes and smiles softly, "well then you're moving in with me, i'm not letting you go, and there's no point of you finding a place if you're always here anyway."
I smile and hug her. "ok... I'll be back tonight ok? whenever I can sneak out... chances are he'll lock the doors and set an alarm, he's been paranoid lately, he never used to act this way so... I'll have to sneak out the window and climb the tree, so leave your window unlocked ok?" She nods and we kiss once more before I sneak around back and into my house. I walk through the house eating an apple. "what's up dad?"
He looks at me. "Where the hell were you?! I searched the whole house for you, and you were nowhere to be found." I shrug and bite the apple. "I think your going crazy dad, I was here the whole time." He pushes me against the house and gets in my face. "That's a goddamn lie! I know you weren't here... you were probably shacking up with that little skank next door!"
I snap and push him to the ground. "First off, don't ever talk about my girlfriend that way, ever! And second, she is not a skank, she is the kindest, most beautiful girl in the world, and I love her! So if you have a problem with her, take it up with me!" He stands and punches me square in the jaw, I drop to the ground, my head spinning, but I stand up and I kick him in the nuts and run upstairs.
