Lily-Luna's Point of View

"Lily? Lily-Luna?" I groaned.

"One more minute, Al." I said sleepily.

"Miss Potter?" That's when I started using all of my senses. No one ever called me Miss Potter except for school, and I knew I definitely wasn't there. I debated about opening my eyes, and after 5 seconds my heart won. My brain sighed, and I slowly opened the left one. Blue. That's all I saw. Blue, and a fish? I opened the other eye to see a school of fish around me. Was I at an aquarium? I didn't know aquariums let you get so close to the animals. I felt like I could touch the black and white striped angelfish in front of me. My hand unconsciously reached out and ran along the scales of the beautiful fish. I gasped. I was underwater! Wait, but hadn't I breathed just a couple of seconds ago? I wondered aloud. And surprise, I could hear myself! I got really scared. I swam as fast as magically possible to the surface, and when I got up my feet sank into the mushy sand. I relaxed, knowing I was okay. I made to stand up, but something pushed me back down.

"Miss Potter, you really shouldn't do that. You need your rest, I bet." I stared at the speaker. He had very tan skin and was only wearing swim shorts. He looked like someone Dominique would fall for.

"What--Why--Who are you?"

"Caden. My family moved here 4 months ago."

"Where are we exactly?"

"Maui."

"Maui, Hawaii? As in the United States?"

"Yes. Where are you from?"

"Not here. I have to go. By the way, what's the fastest way back to London?"

"Umm...I don't know. I've never been to London."

"Oh." That was a problem. How was I supposed to get back home?

"But, I know who you are."

"What does that mean?" I said a little sassier than I should have.

"You are a--" Caden glanced around. "--a witch!" Well, duh. How else was I supposed to breath underwater? I rolled my eyes. These Americans and their crazy little minds.

"Yes, I am. Now I need to get back home, if you don't mind." I started waking inland. Caden put his arm out, stopping me in my tracks.

"NO! I mean, no, Miss Potter--"

"Lily."

"Lily, you shouldn't do that." I gave him my you-are-getting-on-my-nerves-and-if-you-want-to-keep-your-life-you-better-shut-up look. "You shouldn't do that because the prophecy says not too." I groaned again. A stupid prophecy. I'm no Dumbledore, and even I know prophecy's are just a bunch of baloney. I opened my mouth to say a smart remark, but another person, taller and thinner, stopped me.

"Listen to my son." A woman said. "He's the Guardian of the Elements, but he needs to give up his place." What? What elements? I rolled my eyes a second time. The lady caught on and spoke again. "We thought he was a wizard, but he's a Squib." She glanced at him in disgust. I could tell she was one of those mum's that expected great things. My mum isn't like that because after someone like James, people don't really set the bar high ever again. Caden's mum cleared her throat, disrupting my thoughts. "Hem hem. Thank you. He's a Squib, and the next Guardian in line is you." I gulped. So now not only do I have to get home before Mum and Dad start worrying, I have to do highly advanced magic along the way. Brilliant. Just brilliant.
