josh was letting the girl come to his house, with his mates. he begged them not to tell her about what they do. the boys promised, and now josh will see if they keep that promise.

there was a knock on the door, josh runs to get it. before opening the door he slides his hand through his hair. he opens the door revealing the girl. she wore a plum coloured jumper and dark blue jeans, with black flats.

"hi," josh said, showing her in. simon was the only one in, so he got to greet her.

"hi i'm simon." he said, holding a smile and holding out his hand to shake. she smiles letting go of his lanky hand.

"see you simon." josh waves, heading to his room. both her and josh sit on his bed.

"what are those monitors for?" she questioned.

"video games." he fibbed. he wasn't fully lying, just not telling the whole truth.

"must be a hardcore gamer." she giggles.

"my ex used to be a youtuber, he had quite the same setup." she told. josh smiled, knowing she would tell all this stuff to him. because she trusts him.

"oh, what a cool job." josh said. she nods, agreeing with him.

"how's work been?" he asked her. she shrugged before speaking.

"eh, really. pretty easy." she said, laying her back down on josh's bed.

"are you tired?" josh said, seeing as she curled up her legs. she nods, josh pulls up the comforter on her.

"goodnight." she told josh.

"goodnight."

josh secretly edits as she sleeps, peeping at her every five seconds. a knock appears on his door, he walks over to it. he sees simon, he walks out closing the door.

"are you ever going to tell her josh?" simon asks. josh scratches the back of his neck.

"i don't know, because her ex was also a youtuber, and it would be awkward. i can't do that to her." he admits. simon still has judgmental eyes, but has sympathy for josh.

"you're going to have to tell her soon." simon says tensely. josh sighs, nodding his head. with that simon walks off.

josh walks back into the room, to find the girl awake. he bolts to his computer closing his editing application.

"what was that?" she questioned, pointing to his screen.

"nothing, personal stuff." he lies. he felt bad, but it was for her.

"oh, well i guess i should head out. thank you for letting me take a snooze at your house." she says, smiling with her dimples. that smile always made josh melt inside.

"i'll walk you out, if you don't mind." he offers, she nods walking out the door. they walk outside to her car.

"i'm sorry for falling asleep, that was probably really rude." she says, pouting.

"oh no, i thought it was cute." he unexpectedly says, he regrets what he said.

"awh, thank you." she giggles. there goes that smile again.

"i'll see you later?" she asks. josh nodded, smiling back. she then gave josh a big hug before walking to her car.

he already missed her
