"you ready yet?" simon yelled. sammy groaned before shouting back.

"it's been thirty seconds, simon. i'll be done in a minute." she was finishing curling the ends of her hair.

once she finished she turned off her curler and unplugged it. she put it back in the corner and walked out.

sammy was wearing a short blue high-waisted sleeveless dresses.

"woah, um." simon said speechless. sammy smiles before grabbing her heels and purse.

"shall we?" she says holding out her arm. simon smiles, intertwining his arm with hers.

"we shall." he said.

*time skip*

they reached the restaurant and got their menus.

"so how've you been?" he asked her. sammy placed down her menu, looking at him directly.

"i've been okay, guernsey has been interesting."

"what about you?"

simon shrugged as sammy saw josh and freya walk in. josh glanced over to see her. josh and sammy pretended not to see each other.

in the heat of the moment, sammy tugs on simon's shirt pressing her lips into his. simon was shocked, but kissed back.

she pulled away, and she looked off to see josh walking away.

"uh, i'm going to take a breath." she said before chasing after josh. she sees him leaned against the wall.

"josh?" she whispered. josh slowly looked up at her with anger.

"how could you do that?" he said under his breath. sammy stayed quiet as he continued.

"all you wanna do is fucking ruin my life. i'm so sick of you." he said. she sat down near him, making a small space between them.

"josh, i don't know why you hate me so much. all i ever try to do is apologize to you. and you tell me how terrible i am. i just don't get it?" sammy questioned, looking at him.

"because, you knew i liked you. you made me vulnerable sammy." he said, tearing up a little.

"did you think i wanted to? i felt so bad, why would you think i'd fly here?" she said. he stares at her before hugging her.

"i'm so sorry josh." she said. he whispered back into my ear.

"i'm sorry too sammy."
