even though josh kissed sammy, that particular moment really didn't mean anything. they were still really good friends and he's glad sammy told him his name.

josh talked to harry but very rarely at that. josh kind've felt friendzoned, but in the end it was sammy choice to start with.

josh still hasn't told her about his youtube account. she told her she met harry through a good friend. he was really stretching the truth and needs to tell her soon.

josh shuffled around to get a hoodie and some black jeans. he throws them on before heading downstairs. he puts on his shoes before heading out. he decided to walk as her house was only a few blocks away. how convenient?

once josh reached her floor he knocked on her door. he sees sammy standing there, in baggy sweatpants and a blue jumper.

"hey!" she exclaimed, she seemed to have a stick of gum in her mouth. she chewed as she talked.

"hi, what is this marvelous game you want me to play?" josh asked, a bit suspicious.

"its called hatred. its about this guy, who wants to murder everyone. its really weird!" she said, showing him to her desk.

"sit." she says pointing to the seat. josh does as told grinning at sammy. sammy pulled up the game on her monitor that josh persuaded her to buy.

they play the game for awhile.

"you're right, that was mental." josh said chuckling. sammy nodded. josh was sitting in the spiny chair, while sammy sat on the handle.

"you wanna do anything? it's still the afternoon." sammy suggests. josh shrugs. at that moment sammy got a call.

"hello?" sammy said into her phone. josh just watched her speak.

"hi mum." she says happily.

"yeah? is he alright?" she says a little concerned.

"what? yeah, yeah. i'll plan something." she said.

"bye mom, love you." she hung up and went to her computer.

"are you okay?" josh spoke up. Sammy stared at him before shaking her head and cried.

josh stood up to give her hug. he wrapped his big skinny arms around her body, sammy felt warmth.

"what's wrong?" josh asked one again. sammy lets go of him sitting on her bed.

"my brother," she said, sniffling. josh had pity for her.

"he got in an accident. he's in the h-hospital." she said, sighing. josh gave her another hug.

"it's gonna be alright. i promise." josh whispers.

"but josh," she says, interrupting the hug.

"okay first i think you're amazing, and funny, and really nice." she starts. josh nodded her head.

"but i have bad news." she says, looking down. josh nodded once again, for her to go on.

"i'm moving back to guernsey." she whispered.

"what?" josh said, hurt and angry.

"josh, i'm really sorry. it's my brother i have to be there for him." she said.

"which means you don't care about my feelings? sammy, you don't know how much i care about you!" he exclaims.

"i know! i care about you too josh, but it's my family!" she yells back.

"you know what? forget it, you never really cared anyway." and with that josh was off.
