Do any of y'all have that cousin or younger sibling who does what do or likes what you like?

Well I do. I'm positive of it. Since she was real little she would copy me. My family excused it by saying this:

"She's just like you and your other cousin. She just wants to be like you because you're older."

I would just be like ok and let it go or whatever. Now that we're teens it's gotten worse. Let me give you guys some scenarios.

I got my second piercing for my birthday not too long ago. She never even talked about a piercing. As soon as she saw mine she said she wants one.

•She never really talked about animals like that no cared about them. The most she talked about was wanting a dog. I talk about the pets I want and becoming a vet. Now she starting to say if I become a vet or I want this pet. She was thinking about engineering now all of a sudden being a vet.

•I say stuff to my mom that may be funny or I'll start calling her ma I'm a different language just to be different. I thought I was different. She'll start saying the same thing or doing the same thing I do.

There is more to the list but this is just a few.

Y'all may think I'm over exaggerating but I'm not. I get so annoyed it's not even funny. My mom has said herself that she's a follower and I should watch what I do. She's basically saying don't be myself. I'm not about to stop being the way I am because another teen can't find my identity.

For years they fed into what she liked conparing it to me and thinking it's cute. Now look what the result is.

I get in trouble all the time when she talks at the mouth to her mom because they say she got it from me. That's not my fault.

I love my cousin but I just wish she would find her own identity.

Tell me if you have any siblings/cousins that want to be just like you.

How do they copy you?

Is it annoying to you or do you not care?
