I Can't

The N Word

I commented on a book a few months back and it asked a question. The question was "how do you feel about white people using the word nigga or calling blacks nigga ?" Something around there. I commented and said I don't like it because of the history it holds and I also don't like blacks calling blacks that as well. I won't stop anyone from using the word because it's their mouth but I personally don't use the word.

I respect all opinions because everyone should have one. So someone commented today on what I said and said something like "black people took the word and changed the meaning or made it their own which isn't bad."

In my opinion I don't like the word being used by blacks or whites. You can't just change a word like that and expect the meaning to just to go away just because it sounds different. Most blacks don't even like whites saying the newer word that we "created". That shows me that it's not ok and it hasn't changed. Changed or not it's not ok.
