(Barley and Simon have never been so happy together. They both graduated from school and are both doing well. They found an old house which they renovated together and moved into. Simon ensures that Barley never sleeps alone. One day, Simon takes Barley to a fair. They come home giddy from the fun they had.)

Barley: That was the greatest night of my life.

Simon: We'll do it again next time the fair comes.

Barley: Oh yeah we will!

Six Months Later

(Simon and Barley are both celebrating Hanukkah (they're Jewish) by attending the assemble at the town and lighting a candle each, knowing that the following day would be beautiful. Simon turns slowly to Barley.)

Simon: Barley, make me the happiest lad on the face of this Earth.

Barley: How?

Simon: Just marry me, Barley. Make me so glorious and happy.

(He pulls out a golden ring, shiny even at Twilight.)

(Barley jumps into his arms and has the most romantic and happy Hanukkah of her life.)

Barley: I've loved you since before I knew what love was.

Simon: I've loved you since before I knew your name.
