Chapter 2 : 1 week later

You checked your email and SM replied to both Alphina's and your email. Upon seeing the emails, you were really excited. You immediately fished out your phone from your pocket and started to text Alphina.

Hee Jung : ALPHINA!!! SM REPLIED OUR EMAILS OMGGG! HURRY GO TO SCHOOL AND LET'S READ THE EMAIL TOGETHER! :D

ALPHINA : OMG OMG OK!! SEE YOU AT YOUR CLASSROOM AT 6.30! :))))

Time check : 6am

You hurried to school and you met Alphina at your classroom.

"Should we open yours first?" you asked.
"Nooo! Let's open yours first!"
"Ok then. Here goes nothing!"

You clicked on the email, and the both of you read it aloud in perfect harmony.

"Dear Miss Jung Hee Jung, we have reviewed your video and we thank you for taking the time to submit your entry clip. We are proud to inform you that you have qualified for the next round of audition. You were one of the many contestants that gave us a jaw-dropping clip of your singing and dancing skills. As such, you will proceed straight to the 3rd and final audition instead of the 2nd round. We will try to contact you as soon as possible so that we can arrange a suitable time for you to fly to Korea for the last round of audition. Thank you."

"OMG!!! I QUALIFIED!!!" you screamed and jumped in joy. "Let's read yours now."

"Dear Miss Alphina Nut, we have reviewed your video and we thank you for taking the time to submit your entry clip. We are sorry to tell you that you did not pass the 1st round of audition. We would like to thank you for putting in effort to film this video and send it to us. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors."

Upon reading that, Alphina's face was sullen but she was very happy for you.

"Congrats, Hee Jung. Don't forget me when you fly to Korea. And say hi to Tiffany unnie on behalf of me please."

"Thank you Alphina. I'm sorry that you couldn't make it."

With that, Alphina went back to her classroom and classes started as per normal.

After school

You went home happily ready to share the news with your parents. You did not tell them that you auditioned and you hope they will allow you to pursue your dreams.

You were at home, revising your homework. Just then, your parents reached home.

"Hi mom, hi dad." you greeted them cheerfully.

"Is something up? You look so happy today." your dad asked.

"Actually..." and you told them about the audition.

"WHAT? But, you will be alone in Korea!" your mum exclaimed.

"Hee Jung-ah. Do you really want to go to Korea for this audition?" your dad asked seriously.

You nodded.

"Well in that case, contact SM and we'll see when we'll go to Korea with you for the audition."

"Really daddy?! Omg thank you so much daddy and mummy!" you exclaimed.

You confirmed with SM during the weekend and you will be flying over to Korea during the June holidays. You practiced really hard for the last audition and hoped to get casted. "I will be casted... I will be casted..." you told yourself everyday.
