Chapter 31 : A New Beginning

1 Year Later

Your POV

"Let's do this together!" Yubin exclaimed.

"Frabels hwaiting!" The 4 of you cheered and went up on stage.

Fans cheered loudly. "NOONA HWAITING!" "SARANGHAE!" "UNNIE NEOMU YEPPEUN!"

Words that always make you feel warm, you felt more confident to perform after 1 year of hiatus. Frabels' new song started blasting loudly. Fan chants were loud and many fans screamed. You felt happy after the performance.

"Kamsahamnida for coming today. See you later." Purin thanked and you all made your way down the stage. All the performances ended and it was time to see who won the week's music show.

It was Frabels against Hee Hee Peanut. (🌚)

You stood nervously beside Younghee as Hee Hee Peanut stood beside Frabels. You watched the points go up and both stopped at 823. Both blinked and suddenly Frabels' points got higher.

"Chukahae to Frabels!" The MC announced and streamers flew down from above. Yubin passed the trophy to me.

"Thank you to our lovely Chino (fandom name), sunbae, Teacher Lee Soo Man." Hayeon thanked and passed the mic to you.

"Um... Thank you for everyone's support. It's has been 1 year since we haven't promoted music because some things cropped up and we are thankful that we won on the first week of promotions. I want to thank my members and sunbaes for their support. And also Hee Hee Peanut. We are all really good friends so this award goes to not only us, but also Hee Hee Peanut." You passed back the mic to Hayeon.

"Congrats, Heejung. We won!" Younghee whispered.

"Of course!" You smiled to your best friend.

You returned back to the company with your members. "Chukahae!" SNSD, f(x) and Red Velvet were all in your dance practice room. As you guys were partying, you received a message from D.O.

D.O. "Are you free now?"

Heejung "I have a little time."

D.O. "Come to the roof top garden will you?

"I'll go to the toilet for a moment." You told Hayeon and headed to the lift. You stepped out and saw D.O. standing next to the railings, peering out across the city. You walked towards him and stood beside.

"Oh. You're here." D.O. said slowly and he turned to face you.

You kept silent.

"I um... Welcome back." D.O. said with an awkward smile.

"Thank you." You smiled.

"And also congratulations on your first win."

You smiled and said nothing.

"So... That day at the hospital..."

"The doctor saved my life and cured me. I'm healthy now." You grinned.

"Jjinja? That's great!" D.O. smiled happily. "What are you doing before I called you up here?"

"We were partying."

"We?"

"SNSD, f(x), Red Velvet and my members."

"Oh... Mianhae for calling you up here." D.O. said softly.

"It's ok." You chuckled. "The party was getting rough anyway."

"Heejung-ah..."

You turned to face D.O. He was facing you.

"Yea-"

D.O. pulled you in for a kiss.

"What just happened?" You were shocked. You turned to leave the roof top.

"Hajima." D.O. said. "The doors to the lift are closed."

"Well, I know the password to open them." You said, still heading towards the doors.

"You won't know how to. Because Krystal noona changed the password."

"Mwo?" You turned to face D.O. again.

D.O. walked towards you. He stood right in front of you.

"Heejung, saranghae. Again, will you be my girlfriend? I promise, I'll protect you and not hurt you again." D.O. kneeled down and took out a fancy box out of his pocket. He opened the box. Inside was a shiny diamond ring.

Your eyes are wide open. You felt your heart skip a beat. D.O. wants to get back with you. You can't even wait to accept his proposal. But one thing came across your mind : Scandal, Work

"Yah, Do Kyungsoo. It's not an appropriate time..."

Then suddenly from behind, "DATE! DATE! DATE!"

You turned behind and saw SNSD, f(x), Red Velvet, EXO and your members.

"What... is this?" You said softly.

"We felt that an underground party wasn't fun so we came to the rooftop." Tiffany said.

"Ppali accept him, Lily!" Krystal said.

"But-"

"No buts. Now!" Taeyeon exclaimed.

You turned to face D.O. His big brown eyes looking at you, awaiting for your reply.

"Johayo." You agreed and smiled.

D.O.'s lips immediately turned into a heart-shape and he wore the ring on your finger. He stood up and gave you a tight hug.

"Saranghae." D.O. whispered.

The both of you stopped embracing each other and looked at each other's faces.

"KISS! KISS! KISS!" The crowd went.

"Guys, this isn't time." You turned to the crowd but D.O. pulled you closer to him and planted his lips on yours.

"WOOOOOOO!" The crowd went.

You pulled out of D.O.'s embrace.

"LET'S PARTY!"
