Guilt. The locust of feelings. It's never full, always hungry. Never stops. It just keeps eating and eating until you break. Even then it doesn't stop. It keeps eating at anything else you have. No one can escape it. It doesn't care about wealth or power, or what you look like. It pounces on anyone it can get its claw on. It eats at the best of us. Some can ignore it for a time, it will swallow you eventually. You can't ever get rid of it, but you can bury it. You need forgiveness, and even then it might not go away. It might continue to cling. Even if you are forgiven, you might go back to your guilt and it will continue its feast. You can't ever get out. You will always have something to feel guilty about.
