Chapter 9

Shou walked into the the main building.

"Hey Shou!"

He turned around to meet one of the Kadota twins.

"Oh hey Kadota-senpai."

"Thanks for inviting me yesterday."

"Oh no problem! Was it fun?"

"Yeah, I had a good time. Not sure about the other two though."

"Yeah..."

"Anyway, seeya at lunch." Keita said leaving.

"Yeah seeya."

Shou walked up the stairs and entered the classroom. He looked around and saw that Karma wasn't there yet. He sat down and grabbed a book from his bag and started to read.

"Odd, he's not here today." Shou mumbled heading to the lunch room. He walked over to a table.

"Yo what's up?" Haru greeted.

"You don't need your cast anymore?" Shou asked looking at Haru's now fine looking arm.

"Yeah, apparently I heal very quickly." Haru said scratching the nape of his neck.

"No kidding." Shou mumbled sitting down.

"Anyway, thanks for inviting me over." Haru said to Shou leaving him shocked.

"You had fun?!"

"Yeah, I did."

"Really?!"

"Well, yeah, other than him being there, it was fun."

"Oh, that's great to here." Shou said relieved causing Haru to chuckle.

"Speaking of him, where is he?"

"I don't know. He wasn't in homeroom. Maybe he's sick?"

"Maybe."

"Hey guys!"

The two guys looked over and saw Keita walking over.

"Hey Keita." Haru greets.

"Hey." Shou greets.

"Hey guess what?!"

The boys talked and talked. Even if the other boys were having fun, Shou was worried. It wasn't like Karma to skip school. Unlike his father, he actually paid attention and went to classes. Once he even had the flu but came anyway and was sent home by the teacher. What if something happened? Was he okay?

"Yo Shou, you still with us?" Haru asked waving his hand in front of Shou's face.

"Oh, yeah, I'm here." Shou said snapping out of his trance. "Oh look at the time. Class is about to start soon. Anyway see ya guys."

Shou gathered his things and quickly left. The other two raised a brow.

"Karma's on his mind isn't he?" Haru said.

"Defiantly." Keita responded.

"Jeez, is he obsessed with him or what?" Haru asked getting a shrug from Keita in response.

Shou got home and lay on his bed. He emailed Karma but didn't get a response. He checked the Dollars site and looked through the forums. Something caught his eye causing him to smile.
