"Damn." Was all Sakura said putting down her book.

She put her book back into her shelf. She went out of her room to get something when something caught her attention. Her brother. He was lying on the couch, face planting into a cushion.

"Haru? A-are you okay?" She asked concerned. Her brother turned to face her.

"I'm fine. Why?" He asked.

"Well, people don't usually lie perfect straight and still face planting into a cushion." She said causing Haru to scowl.

"Leave me be alright." He said waving her off.

"Alright then." She said walking away.

She was always like this. People called her cold or insensitive because of this. She just didn't want to get involved into other people's business. If a friend was down, she would ignore it or be too dense to notice it, which often was the cause of fights she had with her friends. But thankfully, her family didn't seem to mind it at all.

Suddenly, her phone rang. She got an email from Rin.

"Be careful when walking alone."

"Okay..." She said confused.

She went to the kitchen and looked into the fridge. They were running low on a few things.

"Yo Haru! I'm going to buy more food!" She yelled to make sure that he heard her.

"Go ahead." He said as she headed out.

She walked to the supermarket, got what she needed and left. Walking home, she bumped into someone. She bowed and started to walk away.

"Ah, Sakura."

She turned and saw Shou, who was grinning from ear to ear.

"Oh, hey Kishitani-senpai." She greeted as he walked closer to her.

"Whata ya doing?" He asked.

"What does it looked like?" She asked raising her shopping bag.

"Want me to carry those bags fo-"

"No." She rejects quickly.

"Alright alright." Shou says with his hands in the air as if surrendering.

"Senpai, are you okay? Did my brother shove your head into a wall?" Sakura asks bluntly.

"I'm fine. Never better. And why would your brother do that to me?" Shou responded not the response that Sakura wanted.

"Yup, this guy defiantly has issues."

"Anyway, I'll be off." She says dismissing herself.

"Bye then." Shou said waving, disturbing Sakura, who was now walking faster.

"What's up with him?"

---THE NEXT DAY----------------------------------------------------------

"Kishitani? What about him?"

Sakura was incredibly disturbed by Shou's actions yesterday. It wasn't the same Shou as before. So, she decided to ask the person that she thought was the closest to him, Karma.

"Yeah, is he bipolar or something?"

"That's a little harsh don't you think? Calling your senpai bipolar." Karma states smirking.

"Shut up and answer the question." She said bluntly.

"Okay okay. Here, sit down."

Sakura sat next to Karma on the bench on the roof. She couldn't help but feel uncomfortable.

"Anyway, about Kishitani," Karma started. "I wouldn't say that he's normal. He is missing a few screws."

"How many? 10?"

"Again, a little harsh. But, yeah, around that."

"Yet you agree with me." Sakura thought.

"Anyway, I don't think he's bipolar. He may seem like it though. How do I explain it? It's like he has...two modes. One in his normal state and another when he's excited or when that would cause problems around the city." Karma explains.

"Okay, then what caused him to go two the 'other mode'?" Sakura asks.

"Probably all that's happening in the city. The gangs, kidnapping, it all adds up. And the more that's happening, the more crazy he becomes, I guess."

"So this is why Yumazaki-senpai told me to be careful."

"Anyway," Sakura starts. "Is there anything that I should be careful about when he's in this mode?"

"I dunno. You're asking the wrong person."

"What do you mean 'asking the wrong person'?! You tell me all this and you don't know how to avoid something from happening?!"

"Well, he never showed that side to me before, so..."

"Then how do you know about it?"

"Well, I've seen it, just it wasn't toward me. It was with some other kid last year."

"Alright then," Sakura said standing up. "Thanks for the info."

"No problem. Nice talking to ya Heiwajima." Karma said waving with a genuine smile on his face, not the smirk he shows to her brother.

"So this guy only gives a show to my brother." She thought walking down the stairs. She reached the first floor.

"Heiwajima-san!"

She turned to see her classmates running to her.

"Oh hey guys." She greeted.

"Where were you? We were looking all over for you." The raven huffed out of breath.

"Oh, I was on the roof."

"Doing what?" The brunette asked.

"Nothing in particular."

"Anyway, shall we get going?" Chime shyly stated.

"Yeah, lets go." Sakura agreed.

They walked out of the building and headed home.

"Maybe I'll observe him a little more too." Karma thought as he watched the girls leave and lay down on the bench.

"Things are starting to get pretty hectic now a days."
