"What plan?" Chime asked fearfully.

"Oh, you'll see." The man said holding her chin. "And like I said, you two will be the main stars."

Suddenly a look of pain spread across his face.

"You scratched me didn't you, you little bitch!" He said kicking Chime.

Rin held back beating the absolute shit out of the thug because she knew it would end badly for both her and Chime.

"Chime, are you okay?" Rin asked her friend.

"Yeah, I'm fine." She responded.

"That damn bastard." Rin mumbled.

"Don't say that." Chime said. Even in situations like this, she never let her friends cuss in front of her.

"We need to find a way out of here." Rin said standing up. "Come on, all the anime I've watched should at least help a little."

"I have a feeling that we're gonna get saved, by someone or something." Chime mumbled smiling.

"What was that?" Rin asked.

"Don't worry about it."

"Huh." Izaya sighed coming home from his work. "God damn it Shizu-chan. Why do you pop up at the most random moments?"

He went to his computer and typed away.

"Now back to the Yellow Scarves. That girl made same mistake as her fath- huh?"

A notification appeared on the screen.

Your computer has been infected with an unknown virus

"Great."

Izaya typed away and inserted an antivirus software into the computer.

The software doesn't seem to be effective

"Fuck."

"Dad, is something wrong?" Karma asked.

"The computer's got some complicated virus, or well, complicated enough for the antivirus not to work."

"Can I see?"

Karma came down and started typing away. A notification appeared.

Virus has been cleared

"Thanks." Izaya thanked sheepishly. He was always embarrassed when his son helped him out on things like that this.

"No prob." Karma said smiling.

He headed back upstairs as Izaya eyed him down.

"Namie."

"Yeah?"

"Doesn't Karma seem to be very secretive lately?"

"No, why?"

"He seems, what's the word, suspicious."

"You think so?"

"Yeah. And what's with you?" Izaya asked glaring at Namie, who was smirking.

"Oh nothing. I just figured that you know about what is happening considering you're an info broker, and he's your son."

Izaya felt a vain pop on his forehead.

"How am I supposed to know?! I give him privacy but that doesn't mean he can keep everything that ever happens in his life a secret from me."
