Bling!!! I hit the snooze button on my alarm. Today was the day. I woke up to the smell of beer in the air. Ugh I hate the smell of it. It makes me just want to gag. I walked into my bathroom and took a quick bath. I don't want to be late on my first day. I put on some black skinny jeans and a white shirt that said "I Love You". I then put on a long heart necklace and big hoop earrings. Hey, I have to go out in style. I made sure to keep quiet as I walked down stairs, got an apple and walked out.

The nice breeze hit me in the face and it felt magnificent. I haven't been out the house the whole summer. Barely out of my own room. I tried to avoid my dad as much as I could and I mean you can understand why. I walked to the bus stop and it was already a couple of kids there. I just stayed at the far end until the bus came. The further I am from them, the less drama there be hopefully.

The bus finally arrived and the kids started piling up quickly. I sat in the front and I put in my earphones, my music on full blast. I didn't even notice that he was sitting by me until he extended his hand to me. "Hey I'm Chris." I shook his hand. "I'm Aria." He smiled showing his dimples. He is cute. "That's a very beautiful name." I blushed. "Thank you." We talked the whole ride to school. He told me about his life. I shortened mine and again you know why.

I found out he had two younger sisters age 3 and 6. His sisters stay in Kentucky with their aunt because his mom was still holding on to her late husband's passing. He also told me about his father passing away from drunk driving so he had to step up and be the man. I told him my heart goes out to him.

Me and Chris walked to the main office to get our schedules. We had all the same classes together except 4th and 6th period. He had world history and literature and I had art and technology. We walked to homeroom laughing at the office lady who gave us a mean look. It looked as if that was her natural face. We sat in the back in homeroom and continued talking until our teacher came in. "Hello class. My name is Ms.Thomas and I am your homeroom and math teacher." She flashed us a smiled and started telling stories on herself. Yet me and Chris was having our own conversations.

The rest of the classes went by pretty quick. It was now lunch time and I was in line to get pizza. Chris went to go look for us a table as I got the food. We talked about different cliques in the school and who would look cute together. We even compared the teacher's head. I never laughed so much in my life but it felt amazing.

The rest of the day went by just as quick and the bus just pulled off at my stop. I waved at Chris and told him I'll see him tomorrow. He flashed me a smile and wave. I was so caught up in my little fantasy that I forgot I was coming back home to reality. It sure did hit me, in the face real hard. I stumbled back as my dad went for another hit. I did what I usually do, sucked it up and blocked my body. When my dad was done he kissed me on the forehead and said he love me. No tears could come out though it caused a burning sensation to my eyes.

My stomach started to turn as I walked upstairs. I quickly ran to my bathroom and threw up. I really need to get this checked out. I went to my room and locked the door and when I turned around I froze in place as I looked at my calendar hanging on the wall. No it can't be. This can't be right. I was 16 days late on my cycle. I felt the tears come down now. I buried my face in my hands and fell to the floor. I had a hard feeling crash over me. I never been late before . This can't be happening, this can't be happening." I repeated over and over out loud. I shook my head and pinched myself to see if I was dreaming. But I wasn't, this is real. I may be pregnant with my own father's kid.
